Hi mate what part of coventry are you from. You have done better than me im in courthouse green and have managed 7.5 cm. Still happy just hope it sticks around as im on snowman duty tomorrow with my daughter. still snowing here13 cms here in cov people at this tym in the park making snowmans lol

I dont rearly understand the models so when i pop into this thread i allways look for gibbys excellent summery of the models. I find these a massive help for people like me thanks again gibby.

Fred the weather man is the best weather man EVER to appear on television.
Seriously, I like Fred, he's a nice guy, and tells the weather as it is.
Fred talbot he does the weather on itv central from time to time has me in bits

Just spotted this on my local papers website http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/2011/07/20/twister-seen-in-the-sky-over-coventry-and-warwickshire-92746-29090739/ . Just a pity it was on the wrong side of the city for me to witness.

Still nothing here in Solihull. And yet some of the cloud structures yesterday looked very ominous indeed but nope, just three heavy showers from 2pm onwards.
Felt more like a day in early March rather than the end of May, especially with the strong breeze.

Snap mate the clouds rearly looked like i was going to get a storm yesterday. But all i got was showers so the wait goes on here in coventry

Yes i seen him he must of been smoking funny fags before going on air but i must admit its funny watching him and fred talbot when he does the central weather now and again

Just stopped raining here in coventry was heavy for a good hour with one loud rumble of thunder:)

Just had a rearly heavy shower here lasted a good 30mins with a few flashes and a few rumbles of thunder heaviest rain ive seen here so far this year

WOW!!!! this is so cool, you can actually see the two air masses meeting! the clouds from the north are colliding with the clouds from the south!! it's right over my house atm, and it's gone deathly still, no rain as yet or thunder, but there are some really weird cloud dances going on.
Thats mad no rain yet its been raining here for about 30mins now and im only 2miles max from bedworth

Im in coventry and can report there is a heavy shower here just slowing now but no thunder yet but sky does look a bit evil

Anyone see the bbc weather after the one oclock news had to laugh at thomas shafanacker(soz dont no how to spell his last name) but talk about covering your back when forcasting the snow for weds he had to state remember this is only a forcast it might not turn out this way its only a forcast he seemed to me that he never had a clue rearly
And theres me still waiting for my first storm of the year
