we seen a fair few hail showers today which has added a cm or 2 lol but wouldn't mind seeing some prolonged spells of snow

http://www.sat24.com/scan took this from the general discussion thread, the cloud forming from the east was ment to be heading towards EA, it looks to me like its heading more northerly and straight towards us, would I be right in thinking that?

hope it does stay northerly, seems we could be in the firing line if it continues on its current course.

we are having more slight hail and light snow showers here, is there anymore prolonged snowfall due for teesside tonight?

hi guys, back from work, its alot colder outside than this time last night, we are even getting the odd heavy hail shower blowing in off the sea which has covered the drive again I cleared this morning, so whats on the radar for tonight, I'm expecting a harsh frost judging by the sparkles on the snow.

same here craig, you never can tell when we are due snow, it appears when we least expect it.

yes will of been it was my first year in secondry, I remeber us wanting to go out and play football during P.E, teachers were having none of it ( bores that they are lol )

Really, oh well still been a good winter so far here but cannot help but feel a little dissapointed some how, I think its seeing other parts of north east and central and southern parts of the country getting battered by the snow. I thought this spell may have beaten the best spell I have ever seen regarding snow amounts and that was back in ( if I remember ) it was late October/early november 1991/92 it snows consistanly for a week here, we were even off school for a couple of days. but this current spell seems to be peetering out on us.

morning guys, well glad to see that thaw didnt trouble us to much last night afterall, a few hail showers this morning but nothing to write home about. Whats on the cards today, will we see some persistant snow fall today?

yer your right snowman, not much snow is shifting from the ground, alot of the roof tops are now returning and patches of grass, the problem I've got is its not snowing to top it up and when we do get showers there now rain showers lol

Middlesbrough, I'm about 6 miles from the coast, near Redcar. So frustrating unless things cool down soon, I cannot see us seeing any snow soon.

just had a real heavy spell of rain THIS IS SNOW JOKE NOW, its to mild to snow here, its game over, mind you those further inland are going to get a belting snow shower soon.
