    I'd give that cold spell a 8/10 max, it's all to do with expectations though, maybe mine are too high 8/10 is very respectable

    Whilst I'm loving that, places north of here got a level 8-12 inches, the pics are incredible!! Looks like most of us missed out compared to them northerners

    Pretty amazing tbf what has happened The rain never returned here, got a level snow cover ( all be it very small) I'd say 1-2cm fell last evening and at times it was the heaviest snow I've ever seen (I was a 90's) born tbf!!! Now there's not a cloud in the sky and it's a winters scene for the last few hours of this cold spell of imagine. Brilliant!

    Parts of Yorkshire and north reporting major snow, curb height since 5.30! Motorways at a standstill Someone refusing to go outside to measure it's that bad! It's been interesting here, 1 or 2 cm max so they've got it bad!

    Notice the pattern anyone? Started in Shrews, moved to Telford... The initial rain will give in for alot I'm sure, you'll get some snow!

    I've never known anything like it tbh, if a marginal event starts as ice, then rain I always presumed it was curtains for snow! Evidently not

    It's switching between snow and freezing rain Atm it's now absolutely lashing down with snow but it's quickly turning to ice on the ground really, it's leathal!

    Wait for it people! Had rain and hail in Shrewsbury, thawed everything to a soggy mess Half hour of heavy snow big flakes and it's a white out. It will come your way! All ill say is take care, our council (normally top dog with gritting) have been caught out its white everywhere Thankfully this has happened now, during the day the country would be at a standstill looking at the beeb!
