Surely if we don't get something out of this we never will. One of the most perfect set ups I can remember a long yine. Virtually no wind humidity at a high percentage sun poking through the clouds. Just a perfect set up. Just want it to go Electrical and proper storms

Have you seen the storms over the channel wow chucking out 195 strikes a minute

Let me say the rain was pretty heavy here but made very little difference to temp as soon as sun came out rocketed back up.

Indeed and when you take a look at the first page typical teasing of snow at Xmas lol. 400 pages later back to beautiful sunshine heat and hopefully thunderstorms. Its a great forum. The only one I use. I remember the bbc snow watch all those years ago when tinternet was just starting and we were on dial up connections.... love this place. Let's hope the thunderstorms kick off

.sorry we don't...you never see a day of north east/ easterlies in winter let alone a month ...it will pull north west (high) eventually.. then if a proper southerly moisture ridden air mass encroaches from south for a week your be ..cor could do with that breeze again ..tbh out of wind in sun here its been perfect ..sun is same whatever the weather ..I got burned otherday working out side and walk round corner and ahh cool breeze ..unlike a southerly ..but I miss shower activity for sure
Sorry mate utterly disagree with you. As rare as Hens teeth in the winter, the Northeasterly wind can do one. I am looking forward to some hot weather. My point was we get rain we get wind 9 months a year. I don't want this cloud encroaching rubbish taking up valuable hot sunny days. Days when you look forward to going crabbing and not sit there and freeze. Cause the sun broke through the cloud but the mental breeze kept it cool.
I am a cold and storm freak and a heat freak. But I hate endless drab grey skies. Give me a summer like last year yes please. The heat and warmth for me with a few thunderstorms is well overdue

Just looked at the outlook.... and this wind remains with us for at least another week. Utterly bonkers. I mat start doing a warm dance. A to watch up as I like the window open and B just to drop this wind

Give me a southerly breeze please this is absolute murder. Played tennis yesterday with LG and she was frozen. Missing hot sunny days with no breeze. We get this crud 9 months of the year
-
Is this constant nagging easterly northeasterly due to a strengthening la nina or something. Do one easterly now!!! Give me a southerly please
-
Can anyone think of a more temperature depressed spring. Cloud cover and a constant near northerly and or easterly.

This is seriously annoying I have my shorts and flip flops on. Its may and it is so chilly. The notherly/notheasteely really isn't our friend at the moment. Hopefully it might break away at some point ever optimistic.

Well a 48th birthday today. Not what I had hoped for from the Silly Sulky Weather. Its chilly at Bromley North Station but no snow sadly. Think I am about to throw in towel now and ask for some warmth. Did well in December a week of lying snow!! Backs up the old adage get cold intended snow will follow. Also don't think I have ever seen a breakdown and melt so fast. So our weather is changing more wildly Than we can predict. So I close my chapter on this snow season and await the next with as much excitement as ever. See you in the proper spring and summer

Well there you go. We had a great December snow dance. Lasted a week and then a Jan and Feb borefest rolled into an ssw which gave us a slushy covering on Wednesday. Then you look at the north in disbelief. Couldnt be anymore unlucky

To all rhe people who said it wouldn't it has for a second time this winter. We have a winter wonderland. Yes it's a bit sleepy but it's settled. And it's a decent covering. Sorry if you haven't. Pleased and surprised
And I am about 45ft above sea level

used the Liz line last week for one morning, as i went down the escalator you couldn't see one end of the platform to the other it was so packed. what made it worse was that i actually walked past woolwich arsenal DLR to get to the liz line station. so for the extra cost i didn't actually make up any time as if i had done woolwich arsenal to bank and then on to westminster. i hate TFL or as i know it - totally foocked london
Interesting MAF. I have not had any real complaints. The only complaint I have with Totally Fooked London is that connections are rubbish from Welling. Once on its amazing through to Bond Street
