  9. Morning all, I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and your all ready for the week ahead It's a bit damp and miserable here this morning, currently 6.7 °C and thankfully only 1mm of rain in MK since midnight, which is good having seen the flood waters yesterday. I'm really looking forward to the end of the week and whatever the lower temperatures deliver, some frosty mornings and days of clear blue sky and sunshine would be a good start Have a lovely Monday
  10. I'm liking the look of an 80% snow risk for MK next Saturday ... http://www.netweathe...02de1b#forecast ...I will believe it when I see it falling from the sky though
  11. The no swimming or boating rule seems a bit harsh at the moment given that there are very few paths not under water !

    Floods November 2012

The Ouzel Valley Park has a spacious, open atmosphere with long views. Much of the land is still leased for grazing by Milton Keynes Parks Trust and between the livestock you can still see the remnants of an old field system, the area is dotted with the remains of medieval villages and their associated fish ponds. Some of these villages may have been wiped out by the great plague in 1686 but most were simply abandoned as people moved further from the river to avoid flooding.
