  1. Morning Milly, Roast chicken here as well I was given a recipe for gingerbread latte cupcakes the other day but I haven't made them yet, I can't wait to try it out though I love cooking with cinnamon and spices like that this time of year it makes the kitchen smell divine.....oww I've come over all Nigella suddenly
  2. Morning all, I've also had an early walk, I woke up hoping to see the meteor shower but that didn't happen, not too bothered though I love mornings like this so it was perfect for getting out while the frost was still thick. Aunt Bessie Yorkshire puds are one thing but those meals really are cheating but I suppose it makes a change from chilli I've got a roast lunch to cook and then I think it will be another long walkies this afternoon, there is a bottle of mulled wine with my name on it for tonight so my chillaxin will come later Have a nice day everyone
  3. Don't worry Chris I have everything under control, it will start to snow at exactly 18:00 hrs so there is enough on the ground for a snowball fight in the car park after the meal and it will all be gone by morning Not this time.....but maybe another year ....anyway morning all, It's a bit of a damp squib here today but that was to be expected due to my hair appointment this afternoon, oh well
  4. but that isn't one of my cats Ron who ? It's dark here as well floaty but I think that has something to do with the fact it's wine five o'clock
  5. yes funny how they always come back just when you thought it was safe to sneak off early..... It's starting to look a bit misty here, nothing too major though !
  6. He probably did bark (and howl)...and the neighbours might well have been banging on my door....but I was out Serves him right for not coming in when he was called....and it's not like it was cold or raining, only being half poodle he's a bit of a woose ! Just when he thought days didn't any worse on Monday coming he goes for his annual vaccination in the morning and has an appointment with the dog groomer in the afternoon for a haircut and bath....I haven't told him about that yet
  7. A 'feather pillow' day would be so much better.... One of my dogs is having a day in bed today, he's only got up to eat and go for a walk...he's not ill or anything... he got left out in the garden by accident yesterday for a few hours so he's having a bit of a sulk today and won't go out there in case he gets shut out again bless, the other one wouldn't have minded he likes being outside!
  8. Nice to know you have a 'full package' ...thank's for sharing I'm like that with most things now...it avoids disappointment Well you can't blame the MacDonalds fillet of fish for that K I hope your feeling better now hun !
  9. I hope so.....I'm keeping my fingers crossed anyway It's very grey here today as well, and not just the weather...let's hope things brighten up soon
