the sheep is probably thinking; i'm warmer than you with my woolie coat on
really cold wind cutting across westminster bridge this morning, could have done with a woolie jumper myself
The winning caption was “brace yourselves here I come” - It would have been a much nicer walk without the wind and the need for a coat

I was going to moan about the wind, I was on an old airfield this morning though but then I saw this and getting a bit blown around seems insignificant:
Tornado kills at least 23 as it tears through southern US states during 'supercell' storms
NEWS.SKY.COMSevere storms hit southern US states on Friday, producing hail the size of golf balls and causing fatal injuries.Thoughts are with those affected

second eye operation tomorrow, hopefully i will dodge the showers when going and coming from the hospital
All the best for your eye op tomorrow x
I had a lovey long walk with Fergus this morning, we have another date arranged next Wednesday - pretty much perfect weather for an Alpaca trek today so hopefully next week will be as good

Welcome to Spring . . .
Today is the first day of "Astronomical Spring" - the Vernal Equinox.
The Spring Equinox is the pagan festival of Ostara or Eostre Goddess of Spring.
Spring officially happens today at 9:24pm when the sun appears to cross the Equator into the northern hemisphere - hopefully the weather will also decide spring

Is anyone still up for some snow?
Not unless I get something like Narnia, think I’m ready for some sunshine

I don’t think the “birthday boy” would be very happy about that !
Coventry tomorrow, would be there anyway if there was no cake

now what have i told you about giving people a frosty start in the morning
The “toy car” did thankfully have heated seats (just not as comfortable as mine), I went to put something in the boot and there was an extension type charging lead with a 3 pin wall plug in there, thankfully it came fully charged so not needed.
Well at least it looks mild for the foreseeable, we need the rain showers so can’t complain about them but next Wednesday better be dry I’m going on an alpaca trek !- 1

Very Frosty start but not too bad a day weather wise, I ventured into the vale of Aylesbury this morning in an electric loan car, neither experience will I be in a hurry to repeat - it was nice to see some signs of spring and it’s noticeably lighter at the end of the day now which is good

It’s really quite nice apart from the wind
I’ve got some lovely white tulips starting to open, they are called “swans wings” from Farmer Gracy (yes tulips from Amsterdam) not sure how some of my plants are going to cope if we get frosts next week, I was possibly a bit premature with planting stocks
