  4. malone road south belfast, still just rain with the odd flake falling through, looks to be getting lighter now too
  5. I could predict more accurate showers than the gfs lol even tho euro4 is usually wide of the mark, over-doing it with shower activity
  6. where are people getting that its gona snow this evening, the bbc website for belfast shows it dry the rest of the night after this shower
  7. chucking down now, starting to settle in titanic quarter

  9. confused how me in south belfast, hasnt seen a flake of rain nor snow, looking at the radar, something should be falling lol
  10. front coming in a lot earlier than expected on the radar, pathetic looking thing at that lol
  11. The west has got little or nothing tbh, East of omagh did well, towards cookstown/dungannon. but donegal/ derry/west tyrone, not so much
  12. Some amount of crying here, aslong as you get to see it fall who cares, its not gona lay for weeks like 2010 lol Anyyyway, coming from the ole man, Rain turned to snow in strabane last night, got a nice wee covering, and thats 15 foot above sea level, if you check the radar always last place to turn pink lol Belfast just got rain/heavy sleet last night, had to play football in it. Tuesday evening the snow started to lay and an inch or 2 was laying on all roads! It seems the west/north west always does bad from west/northwest winds, it comes in too warm off the sea and stays as sleet til it reaches the sperrins. only way for a proper dumping there is a direct northerly, with uppers -8 and below. Also, I'm sure its harder to get snow in limavady compared to derry, even as close as eglington is usually 2 degrees + warmer than derry, and you're closer to the sea again
  13. You can already see the end of the front, you would rekon it would clear by 10 or so, not looking good to me, not even snow on the mountains

  17. the 8.30 bbc uk weather video on their site looks really good for much of the North, Far east looks like it could miss out, but could be a solid 4/5 hours of snow :O
  18. ay short range your better watching bbc/lookin at euro4, gfs/ecm be a complete mess when looking at percipitation charts etc as its lower resoloution, its gona be a check the radar event
