  1. Just saw the most amazing crawler on this cam, absolutely stunning!
  2. Another one here, some nice bolts on both https://www.skylinewebcams.com/en/webcam/espana/islas-baleares/formentera/la-savina.html
  3. Some nice convective cloudscapes on show today. Some minor surface flooding in a couple areas around here. Saw a number of funnel like features which dissipated into nothing, but I have found a funnel cloud report from Kent, towards Dover this afteroon: And another funnel report: http://www.kentonline.co.uk/dover/news/dramatic-sight-of-funnel-cloud-128114/
  4. Seeing some great lightning on this cam currently! Thanks for the link =)
  5. Another nice one here: https://www.skylinewebcams.com/en/webcam/italia/lombardia/milano/skyline-milano-city-life.html Arome had some very heavy rain and possible storms across the southeast on the past two runs; good luck all for tomorrow!
  6. Some nice storms skirted past us this morning, dozens of deep rumbles and two faint flashes. Unfortunately a lot of low level cloud masking the view of the storm. Looking at the gfs, a couple more chances for storms at the beginning of next week
  7. The front cells were certainly IC in my area. I couldn't get east quick enough to get a clear view after this, I guess I missed out.. Much better than I was expecting though and I agree the radar looked great
  8. A great few hours here tonight, dozens upon dozens of lightning flashes, just a shame every single strike was IC. Not alot of thunder either, but that's normal with elevated stuff. Had some more small hail thrown in too. When's the next lot?
  9. Was under the heavy shower that passed through Kent around an hour ago, was some beautiful cloud structure and some pea sized hail thrown in with the torrential rain. A couple of storms just out to sea from Worthing/Brighton area right now. I haven't got anything planned for tomorrow so I'm gonna head out to a nice vantage point and see what these storms bring!
  10. Hail shower passed here a short while ago, heard a distant rumble of thunder after it had passed
  11. I did the same, went from Camber - Dungeness - Dymchurch. A whole bunch of cg's out to sea before any rain arrived and once the torrential rain started there was non stop strobe lightning, absolutely crazy!
  12. Video of storm from twitter - Some hail thrown in there and some pretty strong winds!
  13. Not a bad little storm here a little earlier. A fair amount of IC lightning also saw two wicked CG's. A lightning strike also hit an old barn which caught alight out camber way. Sun is out again now, temperature and humidity rising!
  14. Here's a webcam, loads of flashes! - http://www.camsecure.co.uk/looe_island.html Click on other cams nearby underneath
  15. Lol, I'm sure! Rewind and you'll see -Typical that when I posted this, the cell seemed to lose almost all lightning activity
  16. Flashes of lightning visible on this webcam from St. Malo in northern France - When it's pointing in the correct direction
  17. ESTOFEX forecast below Storm Forecast Valid: Fri 26 May 2017 06:00 to Sat 27 May 2017 06:00 UTC Issued: Thu 25 May 2017 15:38 Forecaster: TUSCHY A level 1 was issued for NW-France and SW-UK mainly for large hail and to a lesser extent for strong to severe wind gusts. Over W-France/SW-UK, the air mass stays capped until sunset. Thereafter, initiation is expected over the NE-Bay of Biscay and far NW-France as the trough and front both approach from the SW. Forecast soundings show elevated MUCAPE in excess of 1 kJ/kg with 15-20 m/s DLS. Thunderstorms grow upscale into an organized cluster of storms quite fast. This cluster crosses the W-English Channel and affects SW-UK during the second part of the night, where large hail will be well possible. In addition, low to mid-tropospheric winds strengthen over that region during the night to 15 m/s in the lowest 3 km. Elevated nature of storms should limit the overall severe wind gust threat, but we can't exclude the chance for stronger downdrafts to penetrate through the stable layer. Therefore strong to isolated severe wind gusts are also forecast. Heavy rain is possible over NW-France but confidence decreases for SW-UK due to the progressive nature of the cluster and its late arrival. A level 1 was issued for NW-/N-Ireland mainly for an isolated large hail risk. ... NW/N-Ireland ... Eastbound moving cold front interacts with an air mass, which features MLCAPE of 400-800 J/kg and 15 m/s DLS. A few organized thunderstorms with isolated large hail are possible, which move off to the NE. This risk peaks during the late afternoon/evening and vanishes thereafter with decreasing CAPE. During the end of the forecast a decaying cluster from the south approaches S-Ireland but northing severe is forecast.
  18. I don't know if anyone else uses this site, but it's nice looking at storm reports across europe and there are some great pictures too! I see there were 2 funnel reports in the UK yesterday https://www.eustormmap.com/
  19. Some nice showers here, albeit no thunder and lightning included. Some pretty bad surface flooding under the heaviest downpours, no hail unfortunately. Got some pics of the best looking cell with some nice cloud patterns
  20. Some new lightning activity to the north paris in the past few minutes, it's getting closer! Actually felt a little chilly outside just now..
  21. Have changed my mind, towers seem to be breaking down as quick as they're going up. At least we've had a warm sunny day I guess
  22. Seeing pretty fast development to my north and east, possible home grown storms if there is enough energy out there
  23. Just under 24c here. I agree, it is so sticky out. I'm hoping for a few storms to form ahead of the main band across northern France which will become embedded in the heavy rain as they move towards the far south east. I was watching some convection on sat24 and a couple of showers have now formed, lets see if these can become electrified. Still, if nothing happens today, there are more storm opportunities over the coming days to look forward to And just a few minutes after I posted this, the first lightning strike from one of the cells ahead of the band! Looking pretty explosive down there.
