    Powercut here lasted about 10minutes, it was horrible without the fan on!

    The sun is just about coming back out here, blue sky is spreading over from the south.

    Strange, I've just been woken up by the wind?? It even blew the wheelie bins over outside. It seems to have came along with the lightest of showers, it sounded like one of those winter nights with the wind howling and trees making that continuous noise Still VERY gusty, I want to shut the window as its blowing the curtain like crazy.. it's just too sticky with it shut.

    cells appearing rapidly in the channel south of kent Maybe something is still to come? One cell actually went from nothing to 70mm/ph rates in a 5 minute update?!

    Sorry, but everything seems to be holding in the channel with more and more cells appearing too..?

    Woke up all hot and sticky, stared into the dark sky looking south and can see it lighting up every 20-30 seconds. Just a couple of rumbles and i'll count plume #2 a success

    I've had that open since 10pm last night, but thanks anyway! The line of storms almost formed over me and is now sliding away. A nice deep rumbling can still be heard fairly often, though. Really hoping something could form to our west.

    Um..Cells must have exploded near my location?? As I can hear thunder every 10-15 seconds all of a sudden, Nothing on radar (yet) Which means it's gone from nothing to a strong storm within 10 minutes Radar is stuck at 11:30. Deep booming thunder!

    The clouds are shooting up just south of me right now, from practically nothing 5 mins ago! Showers popping out of no where in the channel now - I'd say it looks fairly good for some storms in kent over the next couple of hours or so especially so the further east you go. Also, the line of light rain further west is starting to come back to life on the southern end. This could be something to look out for later, depending on how much energy the showers can gather up.

    New small storm appearing around the Ashford area, I watched the cloud exploding into life. So I've now had a storm to the east and west of me, typical! Good luck to everyone today

    Went for a walk as the last cell approached. As i was getting to a good vantage point a new cell popped up and took all the energy from the big one coming towards us. Just caught the northern edge of this cell and the ground was covered with pea sized hail again. Just the one loud crack of thunder though Could also still see the rotation on the previous storm that passed just before this one..

    What a storm this one has been! A very defined gust front formed as the storm came over us, 50+ rumbles of thunder, several forks of lightning across the sky, some definite rotation, marble hail a mile or two south of us and finished off with a nice rainbow. I just missed a rainbow with a nice fork going across the sky, I didn't get camera out in time! I can now hear distant rumbles from the next cell heading my way

    Wow, just drove through a very nice storm! Everywhere was white with hail, and it was some of the biggest hail i've witnessed (5p-1p sized) Two very close cg's with loud booming thunder and some nice blue lightning. Back home now and more thundery showers are skirting just to my north - Can still hear the odd distant rumble

    A couple more distant rumbles here, hoping the storm around East Grinstead area holds its intensity as that seems pretty active right now!

    Heard one distant rumble about 10 minutes ago and now have a heavy hail shower, winds are pretty gusty too.

    Heavy snow shower here, everything starting to turn white

    Moderate snow shower here just now, must be fairly dry snow as it was blowing around once on the ground

    Missed out on a few snow showers here this evening with them just skirting by. Have just came back from passing my car theory test and just 5 miles south and east there is a layer of snow everywhere Closer to the coast all that fell was wet snow/rain.
