    Electric has just been off for an hour or so. Our lamppost goes off at 12, but they have came back on after the power cut

    Been seeing the odd flash and have been hearing the occasional deep rumble for a while now, just starting to get more frequent and a tad louder too

    Wow! Almost four hours of thunder and lightning! Still rumbling away now. That last cell to hit us was really intense with some of the heaviest rain I've ever witnessed along with some of the loudest rumbles, 3/4 of which being real deafening bangs. And more to come?!

    Thunder and lightning here for the last half hour.. looks to be plenty more heading this way Also had some nice rotation under a storm we had on Wednesday too!

    Went down to Hastings sea front around 1 last night and ended up getting back at half 4, yawn! Lightning filled the sky the whole time we were there. Here are some pics :-)

    A couple more pictures This part was rotating crazily A VERY close lightning strike (amazing picture, I know lol) And this one... I am so annoyed that it went wrong!

    WOW! Saw the French storm start coming towards us so we shot off to find a decnt view of it incoming.As it came closer the structure become unbelievable! Unlike any storm I have ever seen in this country. As the wall of cloud come over us the winds were incredibly strong. Branches from trees were flying everywhere! (A small tree also in the road on way back along with several large branches)On the back edge of the wall of cloud there was incredible rotation, also pretty sure we saw a distant funnel cloud!Hoping for more later!!

    Had some nice mammatus clouds on the back end of the storm yesterday! Sorry about the picture, taken on my useless phone whilst on the busOh.. You'll have to turn your heads or screens upside down

    Awesome little storm, around 20 cracks of thunder. Second to last one really shook the house! Couple of car alarms and another alarm from Tesco round the corner is still going off. Two storms in three days, Yay!

    Finally got a storm Around 20 rumbles of thunder and saw an impressive cg which was just out of view from the camera Rain wasn't anything special though. Hoping for more soon.

    Looks like a very small shower has appeared out in the channel between us and France, looks to be coming in this general direction. Fingers crossed it intensifies much further

    I've been just on the edge of every shower and storm this afternoon up until this last one. Unfortunately no t + l, but the rain was the heaviest I've seen in months! Muddy rivers flowing everywhere, also had 5-10 minutes of pea - marble sized hail. I was out at the time taking shelter from the rain and it started slowing down -then for about 30 seconds there was a strong breeze from behind which then turned and was coming even stronger into my face. This breeze stopped and the large hail started. Exciting!
