    Something imaginary that I don't believe will ever exist any more round these parts. Ha can you imagine the UK trying to cope with -35'C temperatures?! That'd be quite something to see considering we can't cope with -3.5'C

    I love a real tree - I'll always get one! Taking down the lights outside earlier I noticed our garden is still like a bog, even on the slightly higher side. Luckily no real flooding round here though.

    We're just on the edge of the heavy rain here seems to follow the coast from Southend to Clacton direction mainly... I see the Crouch and the Roach areas not that far from me are on alert - hopefully nothing will come of it though.

    Hmm Metcheck is going with just 1.6mm rain tomorrow and XCweather/Accuweather are going with over 10mm for my postcode (ss6). Big difference there? All GFS aren't they? EDIT - Metcheck hasn't updated since last night! Stuck on: 18Z Run Thu 2 Jan 23:08 GMT Update Next Few Mins

    Yay reached Holyhead just watching some water spouts forming as we reached the break water! Picks are on my dslr so will upload a choice few tonight when I reach Essex.

    This is fun we are doing a V shape journey and it has improved since the turn half way across the water. Pretty rough though- have to hold on to stand up up on deck.

    Well I'm on the ferry. It's packed as others are cancelled... Let's see what the Irish sea has in store for us!

    So meant to be getting the ferry from Dublin to Holyhead in the morning... the fast ferries from Dublin, the Rosslare and Belfast ones are all cancelled but the cruise ferry is still going! Gonna be packed and rather rough and uncomfortable
