2cm now here in S Cheshire - lightly snowing we are on the edge of the heavier snow to our N & NW. N Cheshire, Merseyside & Gtr MCR should do well from this batch.
South Manchester could be the sweet spot for this next bit.

The UKV underplayed this event big time. Note for next time.
Other models handled it well though.

ROFL just seen GMB's Granada weather
Unbelievable and embarrassing!!!
"Fairly dry and bright however one or two showers across the north of the region..."
Graphics, dry across the south when the whole are is under snow!
Recorded broadcasts are always asking for trouble IMO. All weather forecasts should be live.

Pretty much all model output showing snow tomorrow morning now . A few 18z stragglers still to come out but Arpege, GFS, ICON, plus the MetO high res-app forecast showing snow now, even a few heavier bursts (screenshot below).
So the potential is very much there.
Radar watching from now on.

Thank you for confirming this! I wonder why bbc/met got it so wrong? Haha, would Dianne not normally present the weather in mornings? Also, whats the Euro4 model saying this evening and where can I find it
Haha euro4 is no more sadly.
No she stayed over to avoid being stuck at home and unable to get in. Nearly a foot of snow in south Manc that morning. She presented the breakfast bulletins given the severity of the weather.
