And me but fearful you might be accused of being "unreasonable, uninforming, inaccurate, and ramping utter-nonsense EDIT' Agreed most on here have a passion for cold weather, OK most of the time we get the knock back regarding the models and our hunt for the cold and so be it. The only thing that is 'utter-nonsense' is when peeps stop the fact that this is a fourm and so be it.

Always remember the end of November 2010, 30 day update into December 2010, Can't remember exactly? but went something like "After a cold start things will generally change to a westerly Atlantic flow with temps returning to average / slightly above" Must admit it was only a few days later and that changed dramatically, and we all know what happened then http://blog.metoffice.gov.uk/2010/12/
  9. Morning all, WINTER (the models) is showing itself finally for the start of next week Also maybe prolonged if the GFS in FI comes to fruition. Snow arrives, cold weather invades the UK Right all hearsay at the moment and we have been at this time-frame before ???
