  1. I live next to a brook and i can see a defo ground frost tonight for me, some places out in the sticks won't be far off freezing tonight I can live with the chilly night's when we have lovely days like today

  6. British Gas No way, £400 scappage what is the point when they want three times as much. Over the year i send a fair bit of work my gas mans way so I'm sure he'll look after me, but yes i think valiant sound's a good choice
  7. 15 year old gas boiler has broken down again and is on its last legs, my gas man is pop-in around tomorrow, but it's not looking good. New combination boiler coming up methinks, had a chat today over the phone and for around a grand, a 32kw condensing combi supplied & fitted. Glad it ain't the middle of winter i'd be freezing my tits by now
  8. Tomorrow is not a great day if you don't like rain but for most in the Westmidlands it should clear by lunchtime.

  10. 16C, but still enough umf in that sun to make it feel quite warm in direct sunshine, not bad out there for late september
  11. The Current day in Brum is 12hrs 34mins long, this is 4m 2s shorter than yesterday, and this dont stop for...... On the thursday 24th it's almost 5mins shorter that the 23rd, So shorter is the word don't you think ???
  12. This Morning the BBC forecast said " heavy rain and parts may see up to 1" in an hour.... and not a drop!!! even red skies this evening looking north
  13. I was down Stratford way around 2pm, had a few very heavy downpours at the time and i'm sure i heard the odd clap or two

  19. Conor, far too much uncertainty at this stage ? when you have an omega blocking scenario it can take awhile for the pattern to change and the HP it self is rather large don't you think

  22. Working in Stratford-Upon-Avon today, the morning had plenty of sunny spells but chilly though! But as the afternoon progressed the cloud became more prominent with the odd light shower. With HP moving in from the West the weekend and into Next week it looks much better for the sun to show it's self

  24. Hammered down here in Solihull at 7:30 this evening with thunder didn't see any lightning though, love it when the streets turn into rivers
