  16. Remember back in the mid 90's i was on holiday in Gumbet in Turkey and for three days it was 43c - 46c never forget heat like it, even the locals were suffering with heat exhaustion, we were told to stay in doors for them three days by the Police who were keeping everybody off the beach. Finland was the coldest at -37 on boxing day 2009 remember trying to have a fag and in taking my glove off for more that 2 min's.....Trust me it bloody hurts!!! Deep freeze is one of the best experiences...Try it one day
  17. Not as hot as the NAVGEM is saying come Weds then come Thursday.... Just for fun....41C is 105.8F
  18. Same here 22c - 25c is just perfect I'm the first one to say that i love extremes Cold or Hot but 850s showing 25c in part of the UK is just a little too extreme....But then again I'll eat this hat if it comes off And looking at these 2M temp charts we will all be queuing to get into ICELAND.......Never in my lifetime have i seen charts like this
  19. Am sunny fest then by 2pm it was all over cloud fest almost touched 22c at 13:30, felt very pleasant this morning in that strong sunshine. Looking into early July it maybe getting The GEM has the UK in a heatwave with temps easily into the 30's
  20. What is it with the word washout? not much really unless we are in for it all day like an event that is spoiled by constant heavy rain Looking at the forecast washout is not the word i would use. Saturday/Patchy light rain during the morning with showers for some during the afternoon and there will be a lot of places that will stay dry altogether. Defensibility say it's not a washout
  21. Agreed Cape values were further south on yesterday's 12/18z , now they are making there way further North showing in today's GFS Could be Interesting in looking at tomorrows charts, with the humid air coming up from the south and hopefully let the heat build during the day and you never know some home grown thunderstorms may pop up almost anywhere. But as we all know it's all about timing and cloud cover .....25c would be nice.... then
  22. Hopefully you may be a good omen in coming out of hibernation and all that Gord .........FINGERS CROSSED
