  1. This Summer Just feels weird, Rain and just 13.4c here and the next 10 days don't look any better......So, so much feels like Autumn.
  2. Just a joke on the way things have panned out this Summer.....https://forum.netweather.tv/topic/82655-model-banter-moans-and-ramps-springsummer-2015/page-64#entry3238848 in other words when Winter is on top of us and us coldies are looking for a "big lump of dirty Arctic snot right on top of the UK". it won't happen but by your choice of words.......(ABOVE) You seem very certain???
  3. You must still live in the dark ages up there then.....Witches no longer exist Moki
  4. My car lights were on at 6pm.....Well then again it was pi**ing it down. I don't think it's ever felt like Autumn so early
  5. Do you know if the cold anomalies in the North Atlantic is down to the gulf stream slowing ??? You may not not know anyway, I'm only asking because you've mentioned it.
  6. At the age of ten this was the year that my interest in weather started It was the 12th/13th December 1981 and 2 feet of snow cover meant the temperature in parts of the Midlands fell to minus 25°C. But snow was widespread in the south of England and even the Queen became stranded for several hours in a Cotswold pub.
  7. My Heating has just turned itself on, i forgot the thermostat is set at 20c, unbelievable.....It is the 24th of July isn't it
  8. Day off tomorrow but looking at what's coming I don't think I'll even bother opening the curtains.
  9. Never say Never http://www.meteociel.fr/modeles/cfse_cartes.php?ech=2370&mode=0&carte=1&run=0
  10. Are you for real!........ That cannot be taken seriously
  11. Nooooooo Next it'll be Sunday 7 days of the week, i don't think i could take it
  12. BBC TV Weather forecast said this morning that we was going to have a "few showers late morning and was going to brighten up especially for the Midlands". Well wrong!!! First never brighten up at all, and now it's raining wouldn't be that bothered really expect i told the wife it was OK to put the washing out....Whoop's
  13. Just shows how complex the weather is ATM and how difficult all the models are dealing with it. looking at yesterday except for the first few hrs it was a glorious day for most in the Midlands But for the 5 days leading up to Sunday everyday it was changing from Rain to Sunshine and then back to Rain and back to Sunshine glad in the end it turned out right for us. All because the Jet is right over the top of us and as it's meandering from day to day, just 50 to 100 miles further north or south as we know can make a lot of difference. Looking in the near future especially towards the end of the week..... Unsettled is the word!!! the 06Z GFS (BELOW) is showing a daisy chain of lows from Friday through to Monday. Lets hope and fingers-crossed all this vanishes come the end of the forth coming week....I'm sure it will on the next run
  14. May i say them words again "A long way to go yet in the Model 'World" How right you are PM. As we all know these charts are from 10 days prior to the 1st of July when parts of the UK had record temps for July. Not much showing to say that in ten days time a plume was on it's way So who's to say at this stage what's going to happen in August
  15. ((((((GLORIOUS)))))) Wall to Wall sunshine shame about the northern parts of our region BUT...... then again there's plenty of gaps up there looking at the latest http://www.sat24.com/zoomloop.aspx?ir=false&region=eu&lat=52&lon=-2 image. but as always..... Sunday looking a shocker
  16. Not much to say really except .......What a lovely day
  17. My only issue is how much to apply 20c, Sunny Spells
  18. 20C and sunny spells, feels fresher in that westerly breeze with dew points at 9c
  19. This is it for us in Solihull, Warning flash drizzle may occur ........Disclaimer! for now
  20. ILTS, Agreed the 12z GFS is not good if you like it settled but that's only one run let me remind you that I've lost count now how many previous runs was showing absolutely no rain whatsoever and there you go one run and we are back to 'Sunday is looking a shocker' and the Surface Pressure Charts for Sunday are fine and settled maybe later in the day western parts of the UK may see rain. It must be you are obsessed in seeing rain on a Sunday that's all i can put it down to or your observation skills are just crap Lets not slag each other please, just be friendly and enjoy the weather...Thankyou! AGREED AW
