It's just coming and going here, lovely when the suns out, nippy when it's in. Looking forward to mid week onwards when the air will start to have a more of a southerly flow........20c.. maybe!!!

I'm sure the golf clubs have been very busy today, great day for it went passed quite a few on my rounds yesterday and all looked packed. Tomorrow and Monday don't look to bad now.... Just patchy light rain, some places will stay dry all together

Could be interesting come Monday evening/Tuesday morning, in looking at the latest fax charts with plenty of cold air in place that band coming down from the northwest will be very wintry

Agreed Gord, and a thoroughly wet afternoon it's going to be, (Cold rain) ..... A day for sitting in front of the TV methinks. Tomorrow looks a lot more interesting! Snow Showers, but where?.... I'll have an eye on the radar for sure

Shrewsbury may get a glimmer of sunshine towards the end of the day but it's rain all the way for most of the Midlands. Then the skies will clear into the evening, giving a colder night of late and Tuesday certainty looks a lot brighter with plenty of sunshine to be had.

On today's 12z GFS this time next-week could be interesting with the jet a lot further south and colder/cooler zonal flow bringing very unsettled weather to the UK As we know this winter has been frustrating for us snow lovers but next-week gives us some hope in finding something that resembles winter

Must admit MIA the GFS is poor of late, Just 72hrs ago it had a deep low over Scandinavia on the 15th and now a high. And the ECM is so inconsistent recently it's changing on every run.... So who's to say what or where we will be in 5 to 10 days time.... Hopefully :cold: Today and Currently 3.6c.
