Afternoon all and happy Easter I'm just wondering what the chances are of seeing anything in my part of the country? Haven't had a good storm in a long time.....the last good one i can remember was back in 2007/08!! :o

Its been very cold here today. This morning at around 8am the temp was -1c. When i got back from the school run at 9.30am it was -3c!! The cloud mostly cleared to leave some nice sunshine and temps got up to 1c. Just had a little peek on meto and there is sleet forecast for tomorrow evening here.

We have light snow here!!! Can not belive it, there is a white covering on all surfaces outside. :smiliz23: Current temp 1c Dew point -2c Wind chill -1c

Another foggy night here too. And the temp's wow, im thinking of putting on my shorts and t-shirt!! :smilz38: Its amazing how it has gone from -4c a couple of days ago to a high of 7c today. I felt hot in bed last night, and i've had my heating off all day and evening as i don't feel cold. So are we in for anything in the coming weeks? I have had a look at the charts and it looks like there could be cold weather moving back over us towards the end of next week????? Or am I wrong??? Im just starting to understand all the charts. Lol Happy New Year to all just incase i'm not on before new year. Enjoy

Well ive just had a look at my lamp post and its raining with little tiny bits of snow thrown in there! Current temp: 2c Dew point: -1c Wind chill: -3c

I'm not to sure about a snow event here too. The temp has been 3c all day. With dew point -0c. I popped to the shops this afternoon and could here the melted snow gushing down the drains! Its thawing very quick out there. current temp: 3c Dew point: -0c Wind chill: -1c

Evening all Well the weather here just can't decide what it wants to do!! W had a light covering here in the morning. Then mid morning we had light snow, that turned to sleet and then to rain, then back to light snow again!:smilz38: Temp here have been 0C all day, but has now gone down to -1C. Feels ice cold outside. We have a slight thaw going on here. But there is still a lot of snow on the ground. Current temp -1C Dew point -1C Wind chill -7C

Morning, we had a good covering here with big flakes of snow falling. But had also started to thaw quite quick, not sure if it rained after. Its so depressing looking at the BBC map of our region! Just 40 mile up the road in northampton its snow and here its rain!!!!! Current temp/dew - 2c/2c.

Well ive just taken a look on the met office and they have removed the weather warning from our part of the region for Monday! Its just forcasting rain now for Luton anyway. Even the BBC forcast has changed for Bedfordshire now, its now looking like the snow might not reach us till around 6am!!! But then again its looking like its going to be more rain than snow here in Luton Current temp/dew is 4c/1c.

Just had a look on the BBC weather map for Bedfordshire and it looks like we could get some snow at around 3am! Fingers crossed Current temp/dew point 2c/0c. Sunny with a little cloud.

Yer Thursday was very strange, we live in luton and had rain all day. Went for a drive to Flitwick and it was very heavy rain! Then my fella got a call from his work in Northampton and they had heavy snow!!!! It did start snowing in luton at around 11pm and all throught the night but it just left a dusting. Think if it hadnt of rained so much we would of had a good covering!

Its so nice to see that a lot of you have snow, but its making me sad Temp/dew point are 4c/4!!! Is there any change we will see any snow here in Luton........please

Morning all. Its raining here with current temp at 0c. Its quite heavy rain! So what can we expect in the way of snow for Luton between now and monday.

Had a little flurry this morning and then another at around 5.45pm. And had a heavy snow shower about 2hrs ago that left the ground white.

Just got the same here. Sky went really dark followed by some hail! Yuk
