    will this be the heaviest its going to get here in luton or will it turn heavier or fizzle out? been snowing from light to moderate since 9am and have a nice white blanket outside. just got a call to collect the little ones from school!

    Thanks for clearing that up lol It's just knowing weather to send the kids in as most school are saying there going to close at 12. I shall wait patently hehe Got tiny flakes now falling in luton.

    Morning all. The mini temp here got to -4.5c last night. Still looking very wintery outside and had just started clouding over after the sun tried to make an appearance. So.....what will luton get over the coming days? Will we see much snowfall as we are west of the region? Thanks in advance

    we still have a fair bit on the ground so happy with that! I am hoping for a nice covering from this tonight but i'm not getting my hopes up until i see it moving back towards me on the radar and we have a drop in temp/dew point which are both at 1c for now.

    well we've had a slight melt going on. Current temp is at 1c but it feels much colder fingers crossed for later!

    Started snowing here about 5mins ago now. Started off light but now have some decent size flakes. My laptop is playing up!!! its now been snowing for about 15mins!

    Hi all It's all quite exciting at the prospects of snow! I just wanted to ask what sort of snow events to expect in the luton area? I have been looking at the charts and model forecast thread but it all hurts my head!! 😳 I know there can be and will be big changes that will determine what occurs in the coming days.

    Well I'm liking the BBC forecast for what COULD happen over the weekend!! I really do hope the cold wins out, I went and got a snow shovel today as well
