Morning. Well i didn't wake up to any snow but at around 8am we had a little snow shower that covered the ground with a little dusting. Roll on the end of the week

I was well suprised to see it snowing this morning at around 7.30am, was like this all day with a heavy snow shower midday. if it had snowed like that for the rest of the day we would of had a good covering!! It stopped snowing here at about 5ish. Very cold here -0.5c but feels much colder Im debating on buying a sledge, what do you all think, should i go buy one or do you think its tempting fate??

Ok you got me, i'm in I must say that when we do get snow forcast from the NE then we do get snow.

Morning all. I really want to get excited about the possible snow, but i don't want to be disapointed if its just a dusting or nothing I would however be a little excited if you could tell me how confidant you all are on this coming snow event for our region.

Just had a look out the kitchen window and we have little snow flakes. You have to be looking for it to see it. Current temp is around -2c here.

I no, not sure what he thought! Our son is only 4yrs old!

Hi all I just wanted to share this picture i took yestarday of our garden. Where the sky was so clear and we had lovely sunshine, the sun had melted half the snow from the garden. I thought it looked quite amazing!

Morning everyone Cant belive that when i got up and 6.20am there was a nice dusting of snow Really didnt think we would get any because it was so clear before i went to bed. Now we have lovely blue skies and the current temp is -2c.

Evening all Well its good to see that some of us have snow today. After a very wet and dull morning we final got a few snow showers but they were very short. only lasting a few minutes at most. Just falling from passing clouds! Hoping to see some more tonight.

Hi, I'm confused aswell. On BBC and Met office there is no snow but on the Netweather local forcast for my area there will be snow from later tonight into monday mid morning??! I've even looked on the snow risk model and thats got snow risk at a good chance for our part of the region tonight and tomorrow. At the moment the current temperature here is 1c and cloudy. Any idears as to what might happen with the snow risk, is it likely to happen or is it a big maybe/not sure?

Morning all Well had a little look at the BBC this morning and they are forcasting snow showers for the end of the week for the eastern side of our region. But hopefully it could all change and come further in land I can't belive how much the models have changed from day to day! Snow is very unpredictable Mind you thats what i love about the weather!

Hi all I love this site, well the people in this forum anyway! I come on here very evening. I would rather come here for a weather forcast than BBC or Met office! I've been looking at one of the weather charts (snow risk) and its mad how much its changed over the last few days! I noticed on sunday that there was a snow risk towards the end of next week for this part of the country. Then when i looked today its all gone mad! The risk of snow is even more, so it will be very interesting to see what the BBC forcast is for sunday onwards as at the moment there only telling us the weather up to friday! Nothing on the met office aswell. I look foward to reading all your predictions on hear as they have been very good in the past. Hat's off to you Lady's and Gent's Oh and i took great plesure in telling everyone at work yesterday that there would be NO SNOW here today. And they did'nt seem to pleased when i said told you so today!

Hi all Well all our snow got washed away saturday and we had a high of 6c. I looked on the BBC weather saturday and it had forcast heavy snow for wednesday, but when i looked today its forcasting sleet!! Would be nice to get some more snow.

Just gone to put the dinner on and noticed its snowing again, just the light stuff. I no what you mean, you watch the weather in the morning and by the afternoon its all changed!!! The temp here is just below freezing.

Hi all Well i noticed the snow at about 5.30am and continued until around 2.30pm ish. It was heavy in the early hours then light throughout the day, did look like it wanted to get heavy at times. It took 45mins to get my son to school because of slow moving traffic!!! Every road we turned down was road block!! And to really take the p*** the school rang me at 12.03pm to let me know that they would be closing the school at 12.30pm!!!!! Why do that?? the snow had melted from the roads and the paths were melting quick too!! Was it really worth sending the kids home, bet they feel silly now its stopped snowing and its all melting very quick!! So whats do you think may happen at the end of next week? I've looked at a few weather sites and they say we may be in for more snow in these parts?! Thats if the cold snap can fend off the mild weather.

Well sun is out hear but had a few flakes about 10 mins ago. Same last night aswell, just keep getting little bursts of snow nothing special. On a different note, does anyone know where i can buy a sledge as my 4yr old son really wants one!! I no that a lot of places are sold out and thats not suprising! but if anyone knows where there my be some round these ways i'd be very greatful and so would my son.

Hello all. I've been coming on this site for a couple of weeks now. I love everything to do with the weather, it is very interesting. I just wanted to know if we are going to get light or heavy snow hear in luton this weekend? I've had a look on the met office but it always says the same thing! I thought I'd ask hear as you all seem to know an awful lot about the weather. Thanks
