    Thanks Tony I was thinking that I was going to miss out or the wrong part of the country as all the websites are just giving rain for my location. We did have a bit of snow on Tuesday where other areas were clear so I shouldn't moan too much but I absolutely love snow

    Lots of people are talking of snow, is my location excluded from the party as I have checked a couple of weather forecast sites and they aren't showing anything ?

    Got a slight covering here, not enough for a snow day , fingers crossed this is just a little taster for what the rest of winter holds.

    I am hoping for a snow day tomorrow any one reckon I'm in with a chance of it happening ?

    Just looked at the met office and they have heavy snow forecast early hours of Wed morning for my area, don't normally check met office website as they have had it so wrong on many of occasions. Hope they have got it right this time.

    I have looked at my local weather for the next 7 days, and got to be honest felt a little bit excited when I saw the snow symbol.

    We had wet snow here about 30mins ago exciting and disappointing knowing that it had no chance of sticking . Brilliant sun now

    Lightening here again . very scary after seeing the pictures of the house earlier

    We had lightening and thunder about 30 mins ago was half expecting to loose power but thankfully it remained on. Been looking at America on bbc news they are having a tough time as well.

    We had a 15 minute storm about 5:30 managed to trip the electric briefly. Had enough of this wind and rain where's the snow is it worth me buying some hob nobs soon ?

    Can't believe where this year has gone thought I would pop on the forum and it is starting to get busy already , the wind was howling here last night and it was blinking freezing

    excellent programme on last night about the winter of 63, before my time but looked like lots of fun suppose it wasn't for those who lived through it.

    absolutely chucking it with rain and it;s like pea soup (foggy) outside glad to be home in the warm.

    had a thin covering of snow which is quickly disappearing, unexpected as I thought we were out of the party so was quite nice to see this morning
