wow 577 users online....something must be brewing. I did mention yesterday that the block looked quite strong and the Altantic might not barrow through.....looking at the radar that seems correct. will it hold and move further inland and where will the battle ground ensue....thats the question. -

I noticed that too...its like its hitting a brick wall. Morning all, chilly start here and as above the rain looks like its not getting here as quickly as forecast...keeping an eye on the radar. Lets hope for some proper winter next week -

Just a quick question but dont the models usually "over do" the Atlantic coming up against a cold block? I know the Meto are suggesting that the Atlantic will barrow through the cold block but arent they usually quite hard to shift or does it have to be more established? Sorry if im being stupid, but still getting to grips with all of this stuff. thanks -

Well while we are on the personal subjects, I thought I would share some of my current problems. For no other reason than to get some off my chest really as it sometimes helps. So coming back from holiday and after taking 3 weeks off from my contract (mandatory so dont get paid for that time either), On the way back from the airport and the suspension goes on my car....New car needed. My landlord who is a difficult A**hole at the best of times has now served us notice so need to find somewhere else to live (having just got 2 of my kids into the school over the road). And my current contract is up in March, plus I owe the tax man lots and lots of money that I dont have to give him..... Now where is that rock so I can crawl under it? Weather is....well pretty rubbish and boring to boot. Roll on 2015!!- 800 replies

Morning all, and a very happy Birthday Mr P... Wet n windy again in town, could birhgten up later.... I went in the mad thread and to be fair its not too bad considering the flip flopping. The usual seasoned posters are still up beat and offering a good analysis of the situation. I feel there is still lots to play for and tbh, a rest from the atlantic onslaught will be most welcomed. As a lot of people have said, its the first bite of the cherry and there will be plenty more fun n games to be had.- 726 replies
