  1. hail reported in Bournemouth up to 5mm size. ive circled the downpour thats around the area now its looking intense on the radar
  2. i agree with you , we see the potential and get excited then 24hrs to go and its off , so yes im going to take each day as it comes starting with the chances of hail and thunder today, what do you think about this kold ?thanks
  3. for the areas in this tread the snow risk increases later this evening/overnight into friday enjoy the snow! i might see some overnight if theres ppn around
  4. hi all! for most its rain today (out of warning/advisory areas) but as temp and dew points fall overnight tonight and the low moves away we may just have some ppn around to fall as snow (mostly n-of-london/east anglia would get this snow anyway) but to the south and se of london less ppn alltho this may change so we may see some snow towards early hrs/morning . for today its becoming increasingly unstable air towards evening ,and theres quite a risk of thunder and hail as downpours develop there could be some unexpected weather for some . and friday we may see some snow shrs, the dew points should be below oc next monday looks very interesting for a big SE snowfall as long as the lows track is were snow lovers want it!

  7. the latest GFS run has increased snow chances for more of us in the SE over next few days. models are changing frequently to were the risk for snow is .
  8. i think there is the risk of hail cover tomorow in the se, also the snow risk areas may change alittle. theres several chances of seeing snow across more areas of our region over next few days and monday could be the big one could get excited ,might wait until sunday thobut before that some active weather risk is there

  12. yes the nw of our region does stand a good chance of snow tonight , of course the risk is there for the rest of us , the front looks stalled and pulses of very hvy ppn in there its actually become a little more organized .also looks as tho the trough over sw is heading to join up with our ppn?
  13. im thinking that some will see snowfall(or falling ) tonight as dew points and temp drop, this band isnt moving anywere fast nor weakening , so the possibilitys are there

  15. this line of ppn has got wider to ! looks like kent could get snow from this as it might slow down and they have lower dew points staying

  17. theres another band for later(warm front bringing a warm sector) so dew points would rise soon later so more rain/sleet maybe snow still in kent tho. edit...sleet here moderate
  18. its now formed more of an organized line and a bit more heavier now should arrive soon here cant wait ... possibly stopping or slowing down over....kent?
  19. ppn heading in turned a bit heavier, dont know what reading got from this? heading my way (the ppn over reading heading my way)
  20. theres some showery ppn heading our way from nw quite a thin line this first one , the dew points still low enough for snow to fall at a higher temp but will rise later i think. had snow flakes at 3c ! the meto advisorys have moved about last few days and may move again, but then it be an orange in a place that dont have a yellow
