  1. thursdays sharp shrs breaking out across se/east anglia maybe rumbles of thunder ? looks like north of london / east anglia could get a downpour maybe a rumble..looking at Lightning Wizard
  2. data GFS06z for SE uk so far looking good for thunderstorms saturday night(maybe) sunday morning and through sunday as latest shows low develop over n-france so we should pull up thunderstorms from france early hrs of sunday morning of course this is changing all the time as we know but at this stage it looks good..
  3. im really looking fwd to next week to see what happens with the shallow low..i think some are going to get some big storms and some a near heatwave (most likely se england) or both.. what ever an interesting week coming up

  8. the dew points are much higher over parts of wales 15c going by xc weather..
  9. met office warnings alert for heavy rain wales.. cold front not weakerned yet. is breaking our some intense downpours over wales headin south and a larger area of rain over midlands. did anyone expect this? ive only just got online didnt expect to see the radar looking that active..! yeah just noticed thought would be just sharp shrs around that way today..

  12. many people dont know there is any threat of a solar flare or ,that anything like it could occur, of course it would worry us if it was tommorow ,but we do need to know the risks and have back up plans for when it happens, in simple thinking cave man wouldnt notice a thing! so thats the point , we need to be aware of what to do when we are without the things that we need most. interesting views on here.
  13. enjoying the first clear blue day for a while all that cloud was spoiling it , despite the breeze its still the full heat of the sunshine , no haze just deep blue.
  14. can someone with more experience tell me why GFS is showing 30% storm risk for ireland and scotland ? i cant see where anything could develop more than light shrs with the pressure around 1020/1025mb something set to develop from the breezes as shown on charts? im still learning...
  15. shrs look to develop across parts of scotland/scottish borders/northern england/ireland on wednesday maybe some thunder. convergence lines? gfs 12z gives a risk of thunder for parts. i know not much about for a while.........................................................but looking for any hint of thunder/storms for us
  16. i need storms still waiting and they will come.....cant forget summer 2006 the heatwave and world cup..then in mid july violent thunderstorms lashed surrey severe floods in walton/weybridge with houses on fire from strikes ..then what followed was lots of storms until end of summer quite afew amazing night storms visible around(was in weybridge at the time..

  18. hi everyone what an exciting read last night on here ( on mobile) if only the storms developed for us down here. anyway to this day, an amazing sat image here , aline of intense downpours forming looks amazing on the sat these cells! its developing a Convergence line
  19. ive made a chart based on GFS output at 06z for sunday/monday thunder risk.. alto could change abit as we know...
