  3. looks like there could be a major low over the weekend its being talked about in the model thread the models are showing this looks really deep ,but how deep and the track not known yet ,check out ian fs post in the sw threadian fs post
  4. hi all! snow warning for oxfordshire alto other parts of north and north west of our region( n/nw of london ) could see some sleet or snow falling , raining here , flooding is of course a threat this wk and into weekend for many of us.
  5. started here now, been light , now heavy sleet turning more to wet snow soon i would think got to go can read posts ....enjoy the weather all!
  6. as just reported by last 2 posts the ppn band is snow(alto rain would fall in places) and we may see snow falling in areas not expecting it! temp are a bit lower here than i thought would be to ,they are going to fall this evening across most areas and that ppn is getting heavier xc weather check your local temp/dew points as that band heads in from /nw/west
  7. that band is getting more heavier really quickly wet snow possible
  8. theres band of ppn just formed to the west of our region from bournemouth to luton , this band has just got stronger and more organized could see some sleet/snow as it moves across alto rain more likely for most.
  9. hi all! heavy rain turned to wet snow around late morning some very big flakes then rain again now light. the low track is further south so more of us got to see some snowfalling as the cold ne wind set in. tommorow some parts to n/nw could see some snow looks as tho friday later could see some snow as we drag in a colder air flow.

  11. hi wee, there are shrs heading along coast towards your bit more likely to be sleet/rain shrs most likely dissapearing this evening then a feature moves in towards morning bringing rain on coast and snow further north
  12. theres some lining up out west heading for basingstoke on route to us convective shrs really getting going over alot of uk that sun really has some warmth , should see some heavy snow/hail shrs across se maybe settling in any intense ones what time do these arrive? they are heading our way id say late evening ?

  14. theres some shrs running along s-coast , a heavy one around the poole/bournemouth area heading east, still time to develop some bigger ones
  15. possible that some channel shrs may clip the coast overwise its a few home grown shrs inland, and these could be of sleet/hail/ and snow if heavy i think also watching a feature for overnight tolooking at radar the channel seems to be keeping our shrs so a few home growns more likely edit..looking at radar again the shrs just of IOW could hit s-coast so keep an eye on them...

  18. snow events are lining up for us! but what ones are going to happen?..... even 24hrs before saturdays potential snow event the models still arnt certain snow for most on saturday evening worst affected is kent my model tell me
  19. theres some sleet/snow shrs moving along southern counties towards south surrey/into sussex they seem have become a little more heavier over last couple hrs
  20. nice to hear some got the hail cant wait for spring convection i do want a large fall of snow before we get there tho
  21. flood warnings Areas affected may include riverside locations between Broadclyst and Clyst St Mary, including Clyst St Lawrence, Broadclyst, Burrow, Clyst Honiton, Clyst Road, Topsham, the A3052 (former A30 Road) at Clyst Honiton and the B3181 at Broadclyst.
  22. i find hail exciting as there is possiblitys of a hailstorm whiteout (could make a hail man or hailwomen ) theres some intense downpours heading our way
