Hi Blizzards, I think that's a great idea. Yes you're right, Cornwall often is left out and usually just referred to as 'the far SW'. Such a beautiful county really does deserve more attention, besides which your weather is often different to a lot of the UK. Good luck. Good luck with the site

Love reading your posts Roger. I have family in Nova Scotia, Calgary, Vancouver and the Yukon. It's great to read forecasts and reports from North America. I usually do a winter scan of the webcams to see how things are progressing. Much appreciate your input.

Another cold damp day. This cold spell has been so frustrating. Lots of snow forecast for my village all this week. All we've had is rain and hail. I suppose I'm lucky that Princetown is so close by. Had to go up there again today to get my fix. Lots on the ground and still snowing hard.but i really love to watch it fall in my garden, that's magical. Maybe some of us in Devon will have better luck during the next cold spell. I have great faith in Gp's and Chino's forecasts and beleive this is not the end for us yet.

Hoping it makes it here from Exeter as well. Had a couple of cms on Friday. Rain/sleet/hail ever since. All snow and ice washed away now (apart from Syd our snowman). Just driven through Woolwell and Derriford, they have more snow on the ground than here. Well maybe tonight is our chance.

Pretty heavy stuff here now, still sounds like sleet/hail. Too cold to get out of bed and check. Doesn't look good for snow for me tonight, but there's always tomorrow.

I've only seen/heard thunder snow once. Didn't even know it existed until a few years ago. Hope you get a good covering.

Yeay!!! Drove up to Princetown today, thought I 'd leave it til the crowds died down. You had quite a bit more than us, was surprised how much was still on the roads in the village. Here's to some more soon.
