  1. Not seen any clearance or sunshine for days here got a brief glance of the sun's outline several days ago
  2. Barely scraped 14c again with zero sun, at least the drizzles stopped
  3. Pretty much the same down here in Peterborough plus drizzle
  4. Yet another slate Gray sky NW wind with bit of drizzle thrown in for good measure, I've had to dig out the winter hoody this week
  5. Same north cambs relentless NE winds made it feel chilly but very pleasant when sheltered from the wind, extremely dry though
  6. Lot brighter today but it's what seems like day 1000 of the relentless NW wind
  7. Might be hallucinations due to sun starvation but it's starting to look bright towards the NE and just had brief glimpses of the sun's outline overhead
  8. 19c would be tropical here with the strong NE wind struggling to get near 14c here
  9. Pretty strong north easterly here but thankfully inland it seems to have lost it's coldness and is still rather warm when the sun pops out between cloudy bits
  10. Around 38miles inland from the north sea but feels damn hot without quite reaching 20c in the strong sun and light breeze
  11. Suns been out here since early glorious and warm now
  12. Warmest it's felt at 9am so far this year here with zero wind, could get rather interesting later
  13. Sun breaking through more and more, getting very warm and sultry and with the light wind could be real flooding danger later
  14. Storms making a lot of noise Peterborough way heading towards Lincolnshire
  15. As long as you're sheltered from the wind now the sun is higher it feels so much warmer than the same temperature 2 months ago
  16. Don't give up on better weather yet it may be a bit yuk today but it feels warm when the sun tries to break through the drizzle and rain. A year ago today it was cold with snow and summer turned out rather hot and very dry
  17. Dry as I've ever known it east of Peterborough at this time of year, very little replenishment over winter and soils not far off dust
  18. With all the frenzied talk of ssw recently, cast your mind back to a proper BFTE, pictures from 5 years ago today
  19. The eye of the storm so to speak seems to be approaching us in Peterborough blue sky above and warm & dry, To the north, south, east and west thundery looking clouds
  20. Disappointing so far not seen any lightning plenty of rumbles and the rains not very heavy
  21. Kicking off just to the south of Peterborough lots of rumbles now very slow moving
  22. Up to 26c by 9.30 and starting to look interesting west of Peterborough
