Yep, just hope it stays like this, the GFS 06Z has it moving further east which would decrease our chances but isnt the NMM more reliable at this time frame? hope so

Looking at the latest NMM, its got snow reaching West Yorkshire from about 2pm Saturday all the way until about midnight, 10 hours of continous snowfall

First post since December 2010 i think, looking forward to Saturday, will be glued to this thread for the next couple of days as there seems to be a lot of South East bias on the model output thread, understandable to a certain extent if the majority of posters are from that area. Looking good for some snow on saturday, the current location of the event looks perfect for Yorkshire, hope there arent too many changes to this in the next few days from a IMBY perspective

Anyone know if the South West is going to be warm from Saturday onwards, not sure best place to post this question i am going to Perranporth in Cornwall for a week and hoping for some nice warm sunbathing weather :-), please advise if i need to ask this question somewhere else, and if so apologies.

I agree the season should start later, not exactly summer rugby is it? :unsure:

Thanks Lewis, hope so Yep i was at the Cas-Hull game, i wasnt too dissapointed we lost by 2 points but i did think we were the better team, we need to find a goalkicker quickly, thats what let us down, i like it when we play hull though, you bring a very vocal crowd along. I'm about 90% sure we will get the ground, planning permission should be granted in April and hopefully we should start building by July before licences are handed out, i will miss the old ground, but we need to move on, if you go on Castigers website you can watch a fly through of the new stadium, looks good I hope we do well tonight but Huddersfield are a very good team, but we will see

Anyone know how long this is supposed to last? I love snow but i support Cas Tigers and we are playing Huddersfield Giants at 6pm tonight at Cas, and i dont want the game to be called off, The Rain Today premium radar shows it turning to sleet in the next hour or so, but the snow is still coming down fast and im not sure how reliable the radar is at the moment, it shows precipitation all the way up to at least 12:30 but as rain, not sure though, depends on the temperatures i guess. Any ideas? Snow is good, but not in the rugby season

been snowing quite heavy here in Wakefield for over an hour now, and has settled everywhere, looking at the radar it shows snow until around 12 midday, and then nothing, so not sure where this rain is supposed to be coming from to wash it all away, unless thats later tonight, much better than i expected B)
