    Snow is covering everything now. Can't see out of my North East facing window as snow has totally obscured it! Don't worry for those of you further South, we had drizzle this morning with temps around 7 degrees. Wind will increase which in turn will lower temps and rain will turn quickly to snow.

    Yes that looks interesting heading down through the North East Borders, just had a peep at the Scottish thread and they have reports of snow. It also seems to be intensifying.

    A little snow this morning on my drive to Stanley, giving everything a light dusting! Still pulling in light showers from the East.

    Drive to Stanley at 7.00 was very slushy! Must be 4 inches in Consett, more snow about an hour ago, but now very wet! Bring on tommorow afternoon! Will it make it this far North? Radar watching me thinks.

    Just driven from Stanley to Consett, the roads are shocking- if that freezes later tonight it will be an interesting drive back to work. And it is still snowing!! I know we have no grit but none of the roads looked like they had been ploughed!!!
