  1. Looks like we maybe getting a dusting through the night,if you are in essex could be a covering.Lets hope the showers beef up.
  2. Just short of 10cm on the car in the end,a little more in the fields where we have been sledging.Must be on the border of the colder air,not much snow melt.Waiting for some more, maybe wednesday?

  6. Just been out with the ruler and 4cm on top of the car roof now, half way there now nearly, according to the bbc. With another 6 hrs of snow, maybe will get over the 10cm mark

  8. Coming down 20p size at the moment but looking at the lamppost vvvvvvvvvvvvery dense " WHITE OUT"
  9. Up to 1cm now, lets hope it stalls later in the early hours when the heavy falls begin
  10. Getting the larger flakes now, round about the 20 pence size and ratherheavy. The start of a covering has started

  13. Shouldnt be long for me now, with reports in east london,
  14. First look at the flood light in the garden, nothing showing yet.GFS UKMO SHOWING ANOTHER EAST BLAST NEXT WEEK
  15. Soon as the snow does start falling, hopefully with the temp being so low we wont see any snow melt as it first starts to settle,to prop up the totals
  16. After i have been up down half the night, walking through the kids bedroombecause they have the lampost.I leave our curtain open a bit in the morning, while itry and get a few winks.Does not last log. Sod it im getting up!
  17. You can really see why it will be a snow right the way through the se and stalling, when looking at the upper temp line of -5 it gets pushed to the e coast, when the front pushes through. Then gets shunted west again by the block to the east, keeping that snow falling.Ahhhh lovely jubbly
  18. The bbc forecast at 10.30 for the first time showed the snow right across our region.I hopr the latest gfs run holds its ground, dont think i could bare it stalling out west of us like back in 1996 again.
  19. I thing things are shaping up nice for us.Snow showers for thurs morning and even a splattering of the white in the SE on sat, showing on the 10.30 BBC forecast and just to top it the incoming snow at the weekend, depending on how this cold block holds up..Much rather be in the SE at the mo.
  20. PeterCockroft spoke about the tiny flakes seen in the south east today on the lunchtime weather and then said wed night in to thurs more in the way of larger snow flake showers but did say with not to much disruption. We never no things may progress further
  21. I dont think the bbc weather will give out snow forecast , for the days ahead with every thing being uncertain. The showers forecast for tomorrow, were not there yesterday. Its going to be forecast as things develop.Any way very light snow falling at the mo.
  22. Countryfile saying mainly dry for the week, except showing a little snow in East Anglia on fri.Does anybody think these cold uppers and light east winds will produce some snow for us?
  23. Surely there will be more snow shower activity than what countryfile showed . With cold uppers of -10 o C expecting even may be even lower and there is a moderate flow in the wind.Needed a snow ramper doing the forcast.
