    Have a stinker of a cold ,been up since 4.30,thought i would see if there been any change,nice surprise! Gfs so far has done alittle back step,block to the east holding firm and the low off the atlantic is held back with some advection heading north, to iceland.Our snow chance goes up a notch a bit,shunted a little east this afternoon and incoming front on sat may have a good spell of snow,depending on how the atlantiic plays out.It could change on the next run of course for the worse but a good trend for the moment

    Snow melt is holding back well here,paths still got a fresh look,until you go in to town and its slushfest.Must be a cm or 2 or grit,well ott.Lets hope the block to the east holds firm and the models start delaying the atlantic,as they did this morning not bya huge margin but little steps can make a big diffrence in 4 or 5 days.

    Snow almost stopped now, been very enjoyable day at profiles at ruxley today.Measured the snow on top of the wifes car, a very respectable 12cm

    I am hoping the medway towns get a good dump of snow,been waiting to get down to chatham dry ski slope since fri .Should be a good covering down there by midday.

    Why are people worried about snowfall for tomorrow.Gone through ukmo, looks good.Moderate snow mid morning untill late evening for most of the se.Some heavy falls to the E-Kent

    Been out for a walk today,not been much of a thaw,icicles on some of the car grills.Had some heavy snizzle this afternoon which left a dusting 4cm level here.

    Peter (if this doesn't say cockroft when referring to a bbc forecaster, I have maturity issues) Cockcroft said snow sun and tues and said staying cold,I bet he did not enjoy giving that forecast out! Bet he Can't wait to forecast a next mild one
