    Some heavy snow for the last 20 mins,the longest so far today and have just over 4 cm on the grass and the garden table but much less on the path,just could not stick through the day

    Here we go again,clouds filling up and snow falling again.Be nice to have some longer spells of showers.Slight covering on the grass but not on the paths.Maybe saving the best for this evening.Icicles hanging of the shed guttering,not had that all winter

    We have some moderate snow falling now,with some heavy bursts.Looks like a blizzard when the wind is blowing hard.Very gusty.

    Here we go again for maybe our last cold chase of the winter,unless another reload is possible.Could be the best spell of the winter as it stands at the moment.Some fantastic looking outcomes so far,with some long fetching tight east winds.Maybe our Thames Streamer will be more realistic this time round.Hope so.

    The forecast from the bbc through the day was for snow showers increasing sun, with the wind picking up more for the SE.So them latest radars look about right.

    Some very light snow blowing in the wind,out in the floodlight at the mo.It would be nice tonight or tomorrow to see 1&2 cm to see out winter,unless the fantasy charts showing in the next 240 hrs showing in the models, can produce the goods.

    Maybe we will all be surprised come the weekend with snow amounts.The snow amounts have peped up bit by bit over the last few days.Our pro forecaster Ian on the mod thread has given his views,as this cold spell builds,from non snow amounts showing,some flurries and now up to 4cm.What next.Everylittle helps.

    Peeping in the mod thread.Not very happy in there,cold dry run from the posts from the north of the uk.Still, early days yet in forecasting snow.All going to plan at the moment for us SEasters,as long as the high drawing in the easterly does not track any more south.

    Looking foward to next week,wed and thurs -7&-8 uppers and a good east flow i would of thought there wouid be some snow there.Also an undercut at the end of the week,all in all looking great for us as the models stand at the moment

    The uppers may not be as good on later in the the run on the ECM but with the Atlantic undercutting that is normal?Lots of snow from all that moisture
