    Most of the snow here in brentford has melted away apart from the odd patch here and there in the field I live in. The melting snow has revealed some not so nice things, I.e. fox poo. Glad I didn't roll that particular bit of snow into a snowball then.

    Hello from the west. Snow thawing a bit here in brentford but still plenty left. Got around 7cm in the end I reckon. Nice not having any planes going overhead but not nice for those diverted, even heard flights bound for London were diverted to Amsterdam!

    A few flakes blowing in the wind here, am brentford west London for those on phones tonight. My mum in south Wales, ystrad mynach, said still snowing there.

    Hello from the west bit of our region. Can confirm its very cloudy here in brentford. We lost the sun a short while ago. Barely above freezing here. Off to the shops to get some wine as think tonight gonna be a long one...

    I'm 39 and have always loved the weather! And remember snowy 80s growing up in south Wales!! Any of my fellow west londonites in here tonight wondering what we may get snow wise tomorrow night? I think a few cm?

    It is mighty cold this evening here in west London. Living room won't go above 17 degrees!! Looking forward to snow potential at the weekend. Plastic bags for sledging at the ready!!! Mind you there aren't too many mountains in London. O well.

    I remember that as was at tesco stockpiling wine due to the oncoming snow, and it came down really heavy in west London!

    . Helllo yes that was me on the other weather website! And yes I couldn't log on after the upgrade!! I should email one of the guys to help as they are all helpful, I've not got round to it yet. This evening here in brentford it is still gusty at times. I use the bird feeder swinging in the wind as my gauge, not very scientific !!

    Bluebreezer, I live not too far from you in Syon Park, Brentford, it was pretty rough last night and this morning. Am in the city at the moment though, and its really blowy here, would not want to be up in those high cranes today !!! Or coming in on a plane !! The plane engines were very noisey this morning overhead.
