according to lightning maps ther are storms in the bay of biscay at this time at night

As it stands now, I'd put your area in a good spot (depending on how you look at it of course) for Saturday morning, certainly a chance of some elevated lightning as showers move up from the channel and creep slightly inland; timing is still iffy, something more severe is a slight risk, without a doubt.. I'm not the best person to ask to give an outright forecast, I usually concentrate on a proximity of my area, given the complexity of it all, it would be silly of me to give an absolute forecast. The best bet is to keep checking here and use the netweather radar as soon as possible.

Yep....We could have storms coming up from the SW over Friday night and into early Sat morning....So i'm preparing for a long shift!!
What will be will be.......but be wiill be streamed
ahhhh why the hekk not ....it gives me some to use all of this bandwith with...just need to think about frame rate and compression lolol

Any plans to run your Storm cam on Saturday?
i did think about streaming a 720p feed . i was just talking to my friend what cameras to use ...rate my chances and i will pop up a feed :)

Stopped raining an hour ago, 7.6mm in total.The duration and timings were certainly sketchy!Next stop... weekend, hopefully lots of thunder showers.

just been ontop of the roof and we have about 40% cracked tiles ..when in the uk do we have hail bigenough and fast enough to crack roof tiles ..my raingauge has a hole punched right throu it few cars with slight dents in the roof and one sunroof put throu ...mad mad mad

i have never in my life seen that kind of weather before ...golfball sized hail ..close cg .inch and a half of hail on the roads ectect damage to roofs ectect...some real nasty nasty stuff ..the pic below is stolen from fb showing the size of the hail....
