Let's hope you are right Robert, you have stuck to your guns and have entertained us (in a good way!) over the last few days. Nice site by the way. Back on topic, I live 355m asl in S Wales and am very confident in seeing some snow over the next few days, and am eagerly awaiting the 18z and 0z tonight (as i'm in work all night ).

Heavy rain which has turned to snow in Brynmawr (400m asl) in South Wales, wasn't expecting this so early!

Just had a fairly intense snow shower here in Brynmawr. Muc colder outsde than of late.

Light snow falling here.
snowed all day yesterday and is still snowing now. About 2 inches lying on the paths and roads. Looks brighter now so doubt we are going to have any more for a while!

Funny weather last night, finished work at 4am and it was like a blizzard in Newport (Gwent) with approx 1inch of now, driving home to Abergavenny I thought it would be a lot worse as Newport is right by the severn esturary. Got to Pontypool and it was very white. Then about 1/2 a mile later ---- NOTHING!!! Even though it was much higher ground. I have always thought that Abergavenny has it's own weather and tonight confirms my thinking :huh: :huh:

Nah, just flurries, it it's gonna be that cold, you just have to have a good snowfall. LOL
