  5. It's a month since the last severe magnetic storm March 23rd/24th. Maybe it's the same area of the sun rotating around to face earth again. May 23rd/24....
  6. Southern Spain https://spaceweathergallery2.com/indiv_upload.php?upload_id=195528
  7. Not sure what time the Aurora sightings started that night. The cloud and rain didn't clear here until 11.30pm. Here's some more pics from 23rd/24th March
  8. Taken on the phone , just after midnight.
  9. Some have music, do you make the music or add it from an online music library?
  10. One of my cats has started lamp post watching, must of got frustrated and attacked the net as it was snowing all day, but didn't settle.
  11. I often have a look at Spaceweather to check for early heads-up of CME etc. I wasn't exactly waiting, but I'd been out to photograph Jupiter and Venus. Then got home to sort my pets out. After that the Aurora sites were showing red status, so went out again. 12. They were taken on Sunday from about 22.00, I just got the tail end of what you captured. On Monday I picked it up again at the same location, but it was barely registering on camera.
  13. A few more Aurora photos from 26-28 February. I missed the peaks but still a subtle display. Short phone time lapse PXL_20230226_235024638.NIGHT~4.mp4
  14. Brilliant photos Was there much on camera before or afterwards? From what I can tell the Aurora was just about showing up on camera between 22-01.00. I stayed out hoping for another flare up I haven't warmed up yet...
  15. I've seen them in the 80s, November I think. The display lasted about 2 hours with moving purple rays to about 70 degrees. I was too young to have a camera at the time. In 2015 December 21st I could see a silvery mist on the horizon, there were no colours to the eye ,this was the green area.
  16. I did about 3+and hours of waiting in -2C , but as Southern Storm says the activity eased off. The moonlight didn't help ,but it's so much down to luck with the Aurora. I just about get the Aurora on camera two nights in a row, quite unusual in itself.
  17. Very slight red now, but barely visible on camera.
  18. Not really forecast to get going until 3am onwards, likely cloudy by then or daylight... https://www.swpc.noaa.gov/products/3-day-forecast
  19. Was this about 9pm? There is a hint of red here on camera, but nothing much ATM
  20. Slightly better visibility for a last chance capture of this comet in Taurus. It's now fading and the weather is cloudy.
  21. Very murky and humid this evening, saharan dust too? Couldn't see the Comet through binoculars. Turned foggy not long after I took these. NGC 1647
  22. Hello SS Just lucky to get a brief gap in the cloud cover. Only managed 2 shots near Mars, not enough to stack. The thin cloud acted as a starglow filter on Mars. It should be clear when the comet is in Taurus. After that it's likely a target for tracking mounts as it fades.
