Unless you're in Kent/Sussex, or the Channel isles, it will be daylight before any storms are around. -

Yes jellyfish/virga I often call them, not really showing on radar as they're small, but these could erupt over Norfolk later. -

I was out looking for Aurora last two nights, I didn't get any photos as it was partly cloudy Thursday. Clear skies earlier today but Aurora was too far north. There's a few photos from Northumberland of the Aurora. On Thursday I saw a couple of Persieds, got this one with my phone on a small tripod.

Will have to rely on Atlantic fronts for rain, no measurable rain today. I'm sure it WILL rain again soon, the nature of storms means rainfall is concentrated in some areas. -

I've seen two flashes from the Kent storm, it's not very active ATM. Would you believe it the sferics have gone to meet the windfarms. Very murky hereabouts now,so getting to bed. -

I think I got that one also number 12, about 2am looking southwest. Number 17 in your vid looks like a satellite flare, as it appears in more than one frame. Meteors will only show in a single frame. I've seen three bright meteors this am 03.15-04.00 Good video

It’s Not Just You: The Perseids Really Are Getting Weaker WWW.FORBES.COM It peaks the nights of August 11-12, but it's no longer the year's most reliable meteor shower. about 4am I observed two Persieds this morning.

The Persied meteor shower peaks on the 12-13th August. A full moon will hinder viewing, but a few of the brighter meteors should still be visible. Viewing the Perseid Meteor Shower in 2022 | IMO WWW.IMO.NET For those of you who have written off the Perseids this summer, I beg to differ! Despite the full moon in the sky during the night of maximum activity, meteor rates will still be better than... On the 7th I saw three Persieds, and another six on the morning of the 10th One from 4am on the 7th
