    All this sun keeps me wanting more. So I just booked a holiday to Ibiza for me, mrs LeighD and the boys for two weeks in August. Can't wait to tell them in the morning. Right, that's me done for the night. I now very tired and skint..... Haha Goodnight all.....

    Thought I would share this with you guys also.... Not blowing my own trumpet in anyway, but with my qualifications, I'm seen as a bright bloke with a very promising future in finance (as I've been informed by the job agency I joined) Anyway, I upgraded my old iPhone to the 5s, with finger print technology. Great I thought. To cut a long story short I did set my new phone up with my finger print, but the finger I used had a plaster on it.... I've since taken it off, now I don't know how to reset it.... Hahaha what a plum. I'll get my coat, over and out

    Hi all. Well it's been a month since I started my new job, after 13 great years at my old company. I'm glad to say it's going great. The job is for filling, and the people are great. Happy days. Can vouch for JP's as always great post above about it being warm tonight.... Just finished my run, and it does feel nice out there tonight. Haven't been out of the office much today, but the school run was lovely and sunny first thing this morning. When I did manage to get out for a bit this afternoon, I started getting 'sitting in the pub garden cravings' due to the sun and very mild warmth... Haha Have a great one guys... Laters

    Evening all. A really fab day here today. Had an early frost, which delayed the school run by 5 mins, whilst the car windows defrosted. It's actually really nice driving home from work in the daylight now. Went out running again tonight, as I do most nights, but on my cool down around 8.15 I could still hear the birds tweeting. Really looking forward to the longer daylight evenings, more sun and nice warm temps. I asked this the other night, but got no reply..... What's happend to Coast? Hope he is okay....

    Flipping excellent news snow lady. I've been waiting for you to post since yesterday. Long may it continue with your results. That's what I love about this particular forum. Most of us don't know each other face to face, but our common interest in weather brings us all together, no matter what the weather or our personal lives throws at us. Long may it continue. :-D

    Evening all. Fab day here today. Lovely sunshine from the word go here today. Light winds and a gentle warmth in the air. Oh how I hope we have an early and warm start to spring this year. Just completed my first 15k run of the year, now for a cool down and maybe a cheeky beer. Have a great weekend guys

    Hi Guys. Well that's my first full week at my new company over and done with. It's hard being the new boys, after being at my last company for 13 years. Anyway, they are a nice friendly bunch and the job has great prospects. Just been catching up on this, and the last thread and a lot seems to of happened. Some good, some bad. I just want to add my best wishes to some of the posters on here who are having it hard of late.... Onto the weather, and it cold, clear and dry here at the moment..... Was meant to be going to our friends tomorrow night, to have dinner, and use some unused fireworks for a display for the children. Looking at the forecast, it's a safe bet to say that (the latter) won't be happening.....

    Hey guys. It's raining, cold and breezy. Not all is lost though.... Just got my P45 after 13 years service, a great send off from my remaining colleges, and now down the pub.. Hehe Have a great one peeps.

    You know what. I'm leaving (being made redundant) my job tomorrow after 13 years service, which is more than a third of my life.... I start my new one on Monday, but feel really sad about saying goodbye tomorrow. BTW it's still not raining to keep on topic.

    Hi guys. Dear oh dear.... Over 24 hrs of rain now. I must admit I've had my snow fix in Lapland in December. BUT, you cannot beat having snow in your own back yard. In all honesty now, I'm ready for a dry up, above average temps to dry up all the flooding. I'm really sick of it now.... Bring on a bitter winter 14/15 :-)
