Todays rainfall total standing at 87.2mm and its raining again!
LOL no which is probably just as well! Was woken at about 5.30am this morning by the rain pounding off the roof. Was continuous torrential rain until about 0730 when it eased off. Met Office have issued a Yellow Alert valid from 1000 for further, slow moving torrential showers and thunder!

Torrential rain this morning with several roads flooded and Police advising drivers to stay at home for the moment!
Total rain today so far 85.2mm!
Several roads now reported closed due to landslides and large amount of surface water. Reports say upto 3 feet of water across the main Lerwick-Sumburgh road at Brindister!

Woke up to a light covering of snow this morning and there have been further snow showers. Looking like the showers may get a bit heavier for a time this afternoon and evening
Very occasionally but usually it's just the odd shower, this weekend, however, looks to be a bit more than that and I wouldn't be surprised if we see a dusting of lying snow. -10 uppers in May is fairly unusual!
