    Just on freezing here also and just had a hefty snow shower so a good covering now. Temp 0.1C, DP -0.6C, Wind Chill -2.2C

    Snow showers here in Shetland and our first lying snow of the winter. Not much bit its a start and quite a difference from just over a week ago!See the photos below: Update at 1814: Just had a further hefty shower and theres a bit more of a covering now - see pics in Scotland thread.

    I'm expecting some of the white stuff up here over the next couple of days. Both Thursday night into Friday and Saturday night into Sunday look good. Looks like everything but the kitchen sink up here over the weekend with severe gales/storm force winds, rain, wintry showers, snow and temps up and down like a lady of the nights undergarments! Should be interesting
