I'm expecting some of the white stuff up here over the next couple of days. Both Thursday night into Friday and Saturday night into Sunday look good. Looks like everything but the kitchen sink up here over the weekend with severe gales/storm force winds, rain, wintry showers, snow and temps up and down like a lady of the nights undergarments! Should be interesting

Temp falling quickly here too, initially went from 10C to 7C in an hour. Still dropping at the rate of 1.3C/hr, currently 6.8C, dew 5.7C

Wild, windy and getting colder by the minute! Top gust so far 72mph in Lerwick, top gust at my station 64mph. Current wind speeds averaging Gale Force 8, gusting in excess of 60mph.
Temp falling quickly (-2.8C in the last hour) currently 4.4C Dew 3.4C.
TL unfortunately the vessel you speak of has sunk. Two crewman have been rescued so far and the search is ongoing for the remaining 6.

Much colder up here now. Air Temp just 3.3C, wind chill and dewpoint below freezing with snow showers
