  1. Hi 80 weather it has picked up but we would have been getting more totals from Sundays then we are due out of today's front. : )
  2. Being in the north west from Cambridge we are quite flat but even watching latest forecast has the band going east of Cambridge and into Peterborough and all easten regions. Just not west.
  3. Well a huge downgrade for me on Sunday now just got met update and although all coast and Cambridge itself and Peterborough anything west of Cambridge are out in the cold : (
  4. I took a peak on the netweather chart and even that says we have very little through the night. But good outlook for Sunday.
  5. Hi TEITS as I'm not all clued up on the charts does the pivoting work in our favor or take the snow further ne.
  6. Makes you laugh a few cm s of expected snow although not garenteed and their talking of school closures.
  7. Thought we had a tiny bit of rain as car wet but looked on bin lid and there's a few grains on it.
  8. Just received an email from my daughters school found it rather funny. Should the condition of the weather deteriorate we will contact you via- email or text regarding school closure.
  9. Like the pic hope your ready for top ups. At least the west hasn't stolen all the snow.
  10. Just watched the forecast and it looks like Cambridge to Huntingdon st, Ives st, Neots up to sawty will have the snow shield up. While all other areas including Peterborough snow shield will be hibernatin. í ½í¸›
  11. Thanx watched bbc east this morning and looks like we might do better on Sunday.
  12. Morning all not so chilli today. Best places for snow will be se London and all along the coast from To Norfolk , areas to see little out of the next few days will be From south Cambridge up towards Peterborough and areas slightly more west.
  13. How many times have the met got it wrong leading upto 24 hrs before the event when coming across from the Atlantic. Cast your mind back to 2010 we were issued amber warning 100% within 24 hrs , only to be down graded less then 6 hrs before it was meant to hit us. We got nothing not even a flake. Best way to look at this is to think its very unlikely that way you won't feel to disappoint.
  14. South and slightly west always does best but the further north and slightly more east in east anglia miss most snow events. With a n/ e flow it either goes down the central band or clips the coast, I have known snow to come from the north go into pebo hit around sawty and dry further inland.
  15. I'm not surprised with TEITS forecast. I replied to a post earlier in regards to the extent and felt it would turn out to be much similar to 2010 event.
  16. Looking at the latest models looks like we are going to miss out not even going to get that far north. Repeat of 2010 for most of east anglia.
