  1. I dont just use yours i use a few from wunderground and make an estimated guess. But some of the closer ones seem to. E miles off sometimes.
  2. Yeah i was looking at the models before and noticed a lp which will drag the cold uppers again over central southern areas for a few days. I seem that coming off canada the other day too. What gives me comfort aswell is the fact that last year we had a stormy october november and then a cold december so maybe this year we could get a cold jan feb after stormy december I dunno i assumed my dp would be lower as i further from the mersey.
  3. Do a google on earthtools and you should find some tools for it there but i looked the other day and u are about 125m asl
  4. Bt i take my dp reading from yours but mine will be lower wont it? I live bout 4 miles from st helens and about 6 miles from you.
  5. I cant see it. I can see squally showers that have made landfall allready of thats what your on about.
  6. Well bt we are now at minus 5 850s and the dps are taking a tumble. Maybe we might get some convection going.
  7. "Special" hows that special? Special is the north east, lakes or scotland. Although them welsh hills really are blocking you arent they. Them winds are the most severe i have ever seen. Even worse than last novembers storms.
  8. Am i right in thinking that we have all them exept the ppn. If so i can go out on the wifes umbrella and throw a jug of water over your house.
  9. But sometimes the blue for rain produces differently ie the other day it was blue for rain all day and we had hail
  10. There isnt just one thing there are many factOrs but if u use raintoday premium it has red for snow and blue for rain etc
  11. That was a very powerfull gust. I never know that tree in our garden could bend back that far. Made me think of that cartoon where the character uses a tree as a slingshot.
  12. Regarding hotcuppas post earlier today the maximum upper temp low we get here is -8 surely this is enough. Doesnt the dam hav a say though?
  13. Yep thats roght but clock face is closer to you and higher than st helens itself. St helens is in a dip.
  14. We are about 2-3 miles from the mersey but i dinno if were affected by it. It is more thinner by is aswell wather than a wide estuary. Also the winds will be coming from the north/ north west so i thought that wouldnt affect us as we are north of the mersey were as you and bt are south i think. Sorry just checked hale is north too wodnes is south
