    Dunno what radar your looking at but i see loads after a break. And we always get a good dumping from "nothing". Look at last november and the january before that. We were spoilt by the Irish seas convective charm.

    Im hoping for a bit of snow anytime from 15.00. Probably won't stick but never the less, you never know and it's better that the swlies weve been used too. It would be good to hear the thoughts from BackTrack and the other regs from down here. Radar already showing snow in the pennine and lakeland fells.

    I might be wrong as im a noob myself but that is only the oc isotherm level. The HGT, 500 ang 850 HPA are different to what this chart suggests. I think its an outlier??

    I dont understand what is happening. It is heaving on here. What have i missed? From what i can see the cold spell over the weekend is still on with another possible One at about t180. Or is this all about the americans getting the possible arctic shift.

    06z downgrades the length of the cold snap for north west England.

    It wasnt far off here either. We had strong winds with rain/hail. Wind has vanished now in to thin air.
