Looks like we may have a slight upgrade on the snow event. Dps are below freezing from tomorrow 9am. With minus 5 uppers from about the same time. And what sort pf miracle do you think we need. Surely if its cold enough on ground level it will snow. -

I used to go to school on lymm right next to the m6 and when there is an RTA on there and they close the viaduct its chaos. There are a few swing bridges in warrington "thelwall grappenhall stocton heath" but they are all in and through town. As for the barton bridge i couldnt tell you. There is also a toll bridge further upp and i cant remember what its caled so i wont mention that one.

Just been watching frozen planet and had an apiphony. If water levels are rising due to ice caps melting, where did the wather that makes up the ice caps come from? Or has earth gained a few trillion litres extra water since the last ice age.

Sa far as weather is concerned the 1st december is the start of winter. The 21st is winter solstice. And is the shortest day of the year, so in theory should be the middle of winter. But for statistical reasons 1st dec to last day of feb is classed as winter as generally they are the three coldest mOnths.

Skem is higher but not much . Skem is about 125m asl.

I lived in skem for 20 years and only got snow a fea of times the only one i remember was 92 when it was a foot deep

But thats just the last 3 years. Before that when was the last time skem had anow? In truth the only time we get good snow is from convection. Like the last 3 years

Its very rare skem gets snow. The last 3 years have been an exeption due to cold winters.

here it is the past 2 years after he has ramped and it goes wrong it chucks it down so it cant be that bad.
