Dont worry lol! In the same boat.. Look at the northern edge still pushing westward all okay.. EURO4 pretty good so far.. Has it reaching more western areas around 10-11am

Looks like a few things number one sea modification of temps around the coast was probably slightly under done for the start of the event but coming down nicely now... Places in Kent seeing snow and settling now System delayed slightly judging by running through the high res this morning and comparing them to the radar.. Position seems to be the same although I have not checked properly across Europe and the state of play with the system in full... Will look now

As expected... Im hoping this helps areas further west out.. DP 0.9C Temp 2.9c Should be conductive for snow within the next hour or so with the rate of drop my weather station is showing

Hard not to when you see the mentality of some posters.. Shame.. Happens every time though when there is a weather event like this.. Some of us actually make it a hobby and study the weather.. Im all for teaching and learning myself and this fourms offer a great place to do it.. Just have to put up with a selxt few with zero to basic weather knowledge telling us how it all works..

Almost 100% yes... EURO4 has already under done the PPN on radar now! Pouring here now... Streamers/snow showers are almost impossible to pin down and forecast. We have been told over the last few days that there could be significant snow along the Thames and other places out East. A real now cast situation over the next few days and some places even inland will join in the fun if not lots of us! Cant understand the negative posts. World is full of negative all the time the last thing I want is it creeping into this world class thread

So much PPN on radar now.. Just need the Temps to fall away.. Quicker the better!!

Thick fog at the other end of the valley here really strange... Its holding the Temps down as well.. 2C

No its the transition of the cold air spreading south I guess.. The boundary between the much colder air and mild air being pushed away..

HA! Its probably everyone's favorite model at the moment.. It brings a risk for everyone.. Doesn't mean its right..far from it.. It will be radar from here on out now.. I don't expect huge changes on the 06z or 12z runs maybe some minor West East North South shifts to be expected.. The reason I like the Euro4 is as kold says its starting to highlight convection areas of PPN better than most other models. Its tieing in very well with the met Office warnings and its a very respected model.. But let's keep our fingers crossed and I pray we all have a decent wintry spell and everyone gets in on it!

Oh indeed.. I think there maybe a few "well that isn't on the high res models" posts over the next few days.. Suprises almost certain..

If you took the GFS snow depths and bumped them 15-25 miles South I think that would be more on point... Although the NNM actually agrees with a more northly idea..

Well the EURO4 00Z out and its still peachy in fact.. brings forward the transition in some places and brings more people in the Western edges into the game Still very much in line with Met office warnings

Never really seen it before.. its not doing it in relation to any streamers or showers further north
