    Heading into Glasgow on Wednesday night via public transport for a concert at the Hydro - if East Kilbride is going to get walloped then let it be AFTER I head out please lol.

    A friend in Fortose has said it's all quiet there. Suprised given how noisy it is here already with the wind through the trees.

    Don't think my daughter has picked a good weekend to fly to Dublin on Friday for her first 'girly' weekend away weather wise !

    Amount of rain falling just now is absolutely ridiculous!!

    Had a couple of fairly heavy hail showers here this afternoon with a few flashes of lightning thrown in for good measure. Was as dark at 2.30 here as it is now at 4pm. Interesting week coming up compared to what we have had recently.

    Snow lying on the ground this morning but virtually all gone due to the heavy rain/sleet now

    Standing around at bus stops hasn't been fun today. Hail, sleet, now snow and a wee flash bang wollop overhead for good measure.

    I just came on here because I felt the house shake, must have been thunder (had headphones on)

    Still can't believe that didn't warrant a red warning this morning. Ridiculous.

    Well my fence isn't on the ground yet but the one fence that has stayed upright for the last 18 years in this house is now swaying dangerously and as a consequence my gate is slamming back and forth so don't think it will last much longer either lol.

    One boom of thunder here just as the school came out at 3.50 followed by horizontal hail - back to just hissing it down now lol. Kids are like drowned rats.

    Hmm it's a tad wet here and getting quite breezy, wouldn't give it hoolie status yet though.

    Thunder rumbling about again this afternoon but off to our east. Haven't got a view to the east here so can't see what's brewing/passing.

    Grey start this morning so far - hope it burns off quickly as taking the girls to Rothesay.

    Light dusting of snow overnight and has snowed all morning but it's too wet to be accumulating, just getting a nice layer of slush.
