    Stormeh, East Kilbride is fine, it's been snowing like mad but lucky if there is more than an inch or so settled to be honest.

    Quite big flakes here for last hour or so but it's just building up a layer of slush currently on the surfaces that don't already have snow from earlier.

    It's snowing here in East Kilbride this morning - thin layer on the ground

    Headed through to Edinburgh by train tomorrow morning for a few hours - hope East Kilbride doesn't get snowbound whilst I am away hehe

    Wow - that's all I can say to that - had some hail and thunder that went through before 3 - then it went quieter for 10 - 15 mins then bam, 3 oclock, shotgun thunder, lightning hitting beside the high school just as the kids came out (10 min walk from here). You couldn't see for the hail (kids both complaining of sore heads from it still) and kids sliding and falling in the river of hail running down the school path.

    Anybody got a rough idea what the weather will be like in Inverness on Sat 25th Aug?

    Thunder and lightning overhead here with torrential rain.

    Just had an extremely heavy shower that flooded the street and the garden within less than a minute and lasted about 10 mins - heaviest I have seen for quite a while.

    Still rumbling in distance but seems to be getting more distant at the moment. On mobile so don't know exactly where its from as we are in the woods.

    Out for a walk in country park and can hear thunder to the south. 4 rumbles so far

    Fair bit of disruption on the trains in and around Glasgow and Edinburgh areas due to flooding

    Don't think it has stopped raining all day. Think I must have just dreamt the forecast I saw for today which was dry for a spell.

    Hubby not long in and says that as his train from London was passing through Carluke the build ups to the west were quite alarming. I presume that will be what has given the flooding in Belfast already. Has just start hissing it down here.

    Eldest off to Alton Towers at half one this morning and we were treated to a nice display of noticulent clouds thanks to clear skies as we waited outside for her lift.

    Quite a bit of thunder and lightning around at the mo - albeit not overhead.

    Had to spend the day in Glasgow with eldest teenage daughter. Felt like we should be doing the Christmas shopping it was so dark and wet.

    It's certainly become quite cloudy and dull here recently

    Twitter reports of a couple of possible minor trembles in Aberdeen area.
