I'm looking forward to tomorrow. At least something will be happening, rather than 15C and cloud.

A pretty cool and cloudy day here with limited sunny spells. The high was around 15ºC. At least we get something a little more interesting tomorrow!

Yeah, the darkness is really atmospheric. Plus, this may just be me, but a lot of the music I listen to just doesn't feel right if it's being listened to in the day; night supplements it a lot better and creates a better listening experience, as strange as that sounds.

A rather pathetic 16.6°C with pretty much endless cloud.

Currently 18.3°C and cloudy, after a much warmer low overnight of 14.8°C.

A sunny start at 13.7°C. Another single digit low though of 8.8°C.

Quite a crisp, fresh start here too. I must admit, I'm looking forward to autumn now. I enjoy summer but there's something about the atmosphere outside in autumn that I love.

Here is also dry and cool with cloud increasing after a sunny start. The temperature is 11.7°C after a low of 10.3°C. It definitely feels chilly right now.

Not as bad a day as forecast here. Still, cloud remained over here like the plague it is. Maximum temperature of 19.7°C, with 5.8mm of rainfall.

I'll start this post of with saying that i definitely enjoy longer nights. However, I begin to tire of them towards the end of summer, just as I begin to tire of the darkness by the end of winter. As much as I enjoy late night summer walks and sitting out in the garden until late at night, I also enjoy walking at night in the winter. This will make me sound very anti-social, but I have fond memories of walking the streets alone listening to some good music with some light snow falling. However, I also have fond memories of walking to a field and messing around in the snow with friends like I'm 10 years old again! I guess what I'm trying to say is that I enjoy both. I must note though, as someone on this thread said previously, some music is just so much better in the winter. It just doesn't feel right listening to Brand New or a similar band in the summer warmth.

Light rain here for the last three or four hours, which has so far accumulated to 3.3mm. It's 15.8°C, and has remained so for around an hour and a half.

Nothing thundery here but the intensity of the rainfall of the shower that just passed was impressive.

Today has been a breezy day of sunny intervals and occasional showers, with one or two of them heavy. It's currently 16.2°C and cloudy, after the shower that just cleared here. There was a maximum in the day of 22.8°C and a low of 14.8°C overnight, with 6.1mm of rainfall so far today.

Indeed it has, especially after such a poor start to the season.

Same here. It does look good though, and at least we're not in the North West. It really is dire in terms of storms for them.

I don't know if a storm can do that... Anyway, I'm just waiting for this storm to be destroyed by the nearby Sheffield shield.

Let's just say that when he hears thunder he keeps his Eyes Wide Shut and hopes that by the time he opens his eyes the storm will be Far and Away... Anyway, it looks like a shower has formed north of Derby as part of the larger storm. Hopefully this will intensify and give me some rain to go with the lightning.

Despite missing everything by a few miles, the frequent lightning and occasional thunder heard means that I must add today to my days of thunder list.

Breezy with sunny intervals here after a cloudy start. It's currently 23.3°C, after an overnight low of 17.5°C. Despite it hardly being cold, it definitely feels very fresh today after a day like yesterday!
